Currently at the uproar fest in Chicago and I found out when I got here that papa roach has dropped off the tour cause the singer has to have throat surgery and couldn't go on. The European tour is still on though and he wanted to be fresh for the European tour. Me and my friend and a bunch of others are incredibly pissed off but I hope he makes a full recovery

OMG, hope Jacoby makes a speedy recovery! Heard about his throat problems last month, had a feeling attempting Uproar might be a little too much at this point.

I was hoping the reason would be that the band realized they weren't worthy of being in the awesome presence of Y2J.

I couldn't believe he lost that match and was forced to 'retire' on Monday coincidentally at the start of his six-week tour! He'll never be back!

Bro he wil be back lol. That was just a way to write him off tv for the tour. He's already booked for October house shows

Yeah I found out about Papa Roach while wondering why Adelitas Way were taking so long to start.

Supposedly one show had P.O.D. play their slot, id rather that than Adelita's Way playing late

I wish they did that. That would've made sense and would've been really cool.

NJ station running tommorow's show said nothing has been decided about them playing. I have a hard time believing that.

This sucks, they should find a replacement band or something.

I doubt they will. I'm thinking there will either be a 45 minute gap between side stage and main stage or they will start the entire show later.

Rolling Stone reporting they're off the tour, yet nothing from the promotors

ok, the site finally updated and said the Main Stage bands will get longer sets

I'd have rather'd they just move over a side stage band(even if they rotated them through) because any time I've seen concerts claim longer sets it's usually bullshit and maybe 1 or 2(if you're lucky) more songs

Ha, I'm going to a Raw house show tonight. I've never been before, it's a weird way of reconnecting with my youth.

I wouldn't bother, none of the people involved in it do.

I'm in the middle of section 202 or something. Overlooking the entire thing.

Last night's show was hilarious. There were maybe like 2,500 people in a 6,000-seat venue, so we just went right down to the front from our cheap seats and no one stopped us. I cheered loudly for all the heels and almost made all of the 9-year-old John Cena fans cry when I told them John Cena sucked and was definitely going to lose because there was no way Punk was going to lose his title at a house match. Of course he smashed Punk after the fight was over so the kids would have something to cheer about. I like that AJ gets an appearance fee for skipping out and talking for five seconds and skipping back.

Anyway, I have a lot of thoughts. It was a very amusing night.

I love how my wise ass comment about Jericho on the first page turned this into a wrestling thread:D

Anyways, it doesn't seem as though some of you are aware that if you go to the "sports" subforum in the genreal chat section that there is a pro wrestling thread here where you can discuss this stuff.

at least as of yet it looks like stainds set lengthened by 1 song, godsmack and shinedown didn't change and adelita's way got like one or 2 more songs too.

All they did was start the main stage an hour later.

there was time between P.O.D. and Adelita's Way, but then again the PNC Arts Center always stops mid day to do the National Anthem
