Oh yeah, Cinderella. It had been seven years since I saw them last on the Rock Never Stops Tour 2005 with Firehouse, Quiet Riot and Ratt and that is far too long. The show took place at Braun's Concert Cove and before this show was announced, I never realized there was a venue in Akron. The place is a tiny bar out in the country with a good sized outside stage sitting behind it. It definitely is an awesome outdoor venue, despite being charged $10 to park and the flood of super white trash everywhere. Why must old, drunk women always pull at my hair? Anyway, Cinderella was still awesome as hell and Tom's voice sounded spot on. As with any Cinderella show, this one was complete with Tom's sliding guitar, Jeff's acoustic guitar on a stand and Tom on piano for Don't Know What You Got. The set may have been a little short for my liking, but hell, I'd have payed twice what I did and still felt like I got my money worth. Anyone hungry for a good 1980's hair gig needs to go see these guys whenever they come around, they will not disappoint. On to the next show at the Cove....... Dokken

Saw them a couple months ago come in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. Tom sounded dead fucking spot on like it was 1986. Hell, the whole band sounded amazing. Same exact setlist as your show. A bit short, but oh well. Still a kickass time for a 25 dollar ticket.

Dokken is still phenomenal instrumentally. Don on the other hand....well, he makes Stephen Pearcy sound like Pavarotti.

This is one of the only hair bands I ever found acceptable. Don't ask me why. Clearly I was insane at the time. ;)

I think I might even still have one of their albums on cassette. :eyes:

Yeah that's what I've heard from a lot of people but I'm still excited as hell to see them. I've been waiting for a solid 8 years..... the last time they came around it was a 16+ show and I was only 15. I'm definitely not missing this opportunity, can't wait to hear those songs live no matter how bad Don sounds these days
