They just announced a show on September 20th at The Barbary in Philadelphia and Trioscapes (Dan Briggs' side project) is support for the show. Probably a tour. Needless to say I'm fucking stoked.

So that means no BTBAM fall tour I guess.

Lame. I guess I'll have to wait 'til 2013 to catch 'em again if Scale the Summit thing is indeed part of a whole tour.

BTBAM euro tour oct 1 until nov 2, fun fun fun fest in austin november 4. could be the start of a US tour. would be strange for them to put out a new album in oct and then wait until 2013 to tour.

Um............I don't get how STS can afford to keep doing headlining tours. Like 15 people were at the one in St Louis.

That has no bearing on their music, but I just don't get it.

Only the world's 4th greatest Leaderz Of Animalz tribute band! Duh!

But in all seriousness. Scale The Summit is my favorite instrumental band, and if they come back to St. Paul, I will be there.

I asked Chris about it, he said it's not a full tour but like 12 dates. I think BTBAM will have a late fall/early winter us tour.

They waited to do a headliner until the next year with The Great Misdirect, but it will probably be different this time around.

nah, they did a headliner with veil of maya and animals as leaders a few weeks after (south/midwest, but a tour nonetheless) supported in flames right before the release as well.

Oh shit my bad, I forgot about that brief tour with Animals As Leaders and Veil of Maya.

Keep in mind it's a lot about merch sales too, and the date I went to/played with them in NJ in February that they headlined was packed out, AND it was a Tuesday. Might've just been a bad night in St. Louis, it happens sometimes. Not to mention they're getting guarantees from these places every night, and with the level that STS is playing at now, the turnout has nothing to do with that, the venue will pay them/their tour package the money they were guaranteed regardless.
