I don't like SOAD either, but I don't get why scars on broadway are still doing shows. The best thing to happen to Scars on Broadway was that they stopped making music and playing shows.. :hecho:

They did, but that's not stopping Daron from keeping SOB alive, nor is it stopping Serj from making solo material.

I would go to this if I wasn't on the total opposite side of the country. Deftones and Bush are killer live, and Escape the Fate and Crash Kings aren't too bad either. Chevelle is god awful live though, I must say. I actually like the band too. I've seen them three times now, my first time I thought the sound guy was just bad. Each of the next two times I went in hoping they would be great, but they were terrible again. I want to like them live, but I can't if they just sound bad. I also don't know why Hollywood Undead doesn't just go away already. They actually too bad live, but it never seems like they're doing anything particularly engaging. Also I've never seen STP.

Daron started Scars on Broadway after System went on hiatus after Hypnotize.

Why no love for Hyro Da Hero!!!!

Because they're awful. I saw them open for Mindless Self Indulgence in March. It was pretty bad, and their singer was annoying in between songs. My friends dug them, for some reason.

I saw them at Warped last year never hearing of them before that and thought they were actually extremely good.

I dig Hyro. Want to see Deftones heard great things plus hearing Digital Bath live would awesome. But this fest will be overpriced and totally not worth it.

Hyro is awesome live.

Anyhow, this lineup is the best Epicenter line up I've seen since '09, but that's only because '09 had Tool.

If I lived in So Cal I'd be there.

Deftones are one of the greatest live acts to me, seriously. Digital Bath is beautiful too

They're only doing SOAD shows for the money. They're not writing new material or anything, at least not anytime soon. I think SOB is playing cause Serj is gonna be doing a solo tour around this time,

Its interesting seeing Stone Temple Pilots headline this show at the Verizon amphitheater in Irvine. I saw Stone Temple Pilots open up for Red Hot Chilli peppers in September of 2000 at this very same venue which is where epicenter festival is taking place. I guess that makes me old school :D

Hyro Da Hero is solid, wish they were playing Warped Tour here. Back on topic, this festival is pretty decent, STP and Deftones would be worth it alone. Hollywood Undead and Escape the Fate are the only complete shit bands on the bill and the rest of the lineup is at least inoffensive.

Hell Yeah!

It's funny that I didn't see you watching them although I was on the rail and rushed after them to catch For Today.

I would go but I have already seen STP, Deftones, Bush, and Chevelle. Maybe if Scott Weiland didn't lip sync I would go.

I was casually watching by the sound tent for the first three songs. Did you see the guy in the "pit" with the Crash Bandicoot doll?
