I wonder if the USA is on its way to being like Europe for rock festivals

I have noticed that this year, more rock festivals similar to Rock Fest (http://rock-fest.com/) have started to pop up. More than I've ever seen. I'm willing to bet that next year, they'll start to get even bigger, similar to the ones in Europe. It's been a long time coming, but it sure is great to see this finally happening over here!

Nope, will never come even remotely close. We Americans (and Canadians) have a shitty metal scene. Metal is a way of life in Europe. Here, we metalheads are considered freaks and weirdos.
