New York, NY) – All That Remains (ATR) has completed tracking on its forthcoming new studio album with mixing now underway. The new album, to be titled A War You Can Not Win is expected for release in September 2012 via Razor & Tie /Prosthetic. A War You Can Not Win sees ATR reunited with longtime producer Adam D (The Devil Wears Prada, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage). The record is the culmination of an intense writing period for the group that began shortly after their 18-month tour in support of For We Are Many.

“So we're gonna release a new disc in the fall and it's called ‘A War You Can Not Win’. We really busted our asses and tried to do some new stuff (like we always do) and we're really happy about what came out of it. Some of it is pretty different and is REALLY gonna blow you guys away. Some of it is gonna sound just like what you expect from ATR. And I'm sure all of it is gonna make the internet have a conniption fit! Release is gonna be this fall and we're already working on a co-headline tour to show some of it off! Get into it,” comments All That Remains front man Phil Labonte.

A War You Can Not Win will be All That Remains’ seventh studio album for Razor & Tie/Prosthetic, the bands label home for over eight years. One of the leading rock/metal bands in music today, ATR has sold more than 890,000 albums and 1,290,000 tracks to date. The band’s last album, For We Are Many, debuted at #10 on the Billboard Top 200 chart in 2010 and sold over 174,000 albums to date. The band has also had enormous Active Rock Radio success - their last single off the album, "The Waiting One," went top 5 on the Active Rock Radio chart making ATR’s first ever Top 5 single and also the band’s fifth consecutive hit single at Active Rock. For We Are Many also spawned 2 additional Top 10 tracks, "Hold On," and “The Last Time” which spent a combined calendar year charting at the format. All That Remains has toured extensively including a headlining runs as well as tours with Asking Alexandria, Buckcherry, Black Label Society, Hollywood Undead, Five Finger Death Punch as well as a few major radio and international festivals.

Yeah they did tour with some shitty bands over the past couple years (Whick sucks because they are very good live). Hope the new record isn't strictly mainstream, radio-rock.

Don't forget to start another thread when the cover art is revealed, and another when the tracklist is confirmed.

I for one can't wait. I loved ATR's last album and their one of my favorite metalcore bands.

Yeah I've always liked them and still do, interested to see who they coheadline with(methinks KSE, for years they've wanted to do a Mass tour)

God I hope so. Badly want to see Killswitch with Jesse but don't want shell out the cash to go to Trespass and it would be good to see All That Remains tour with a non-shit band for once.

That sounds like it could happen. KSE and ATR are all good friends.

I mean I'm going to see ATR in Aug. play a venue that holds like 500 people and the opening act for that show is In This Moment.

I'm looking forward to the new album. For we are Many wasn't great but was a step above Overcome, so that's good, kinda.

ATR was great. Last two albums were whatever but hey they still sound good live. A tour with ATR, KSE, and Shadows Fall would be metalcore heaven :rocker:

I always thought it would rock to do a big one day festival type deal where ATR, KsE, Unearth, Shadows Fall all played with their older bands like Overcast, Blood Has Been Shed, Times of Grace, and everything inbetween doing performances and have Phil join SF for a couple songs. I'm just a dreamer though

That would be awesome, just have to point it out that Times Of Grace isn't a older band. They've only been around for like 3 years.

I agree. I caught them on the UnderOath tour and they blew me away. For 2 guys who havn't worked together since AOJB they still have all the magic.
