Spending most of June traveling with Nickelback, Seether tops the “Triple Threat” tour lineup launching in September in Boston and wrapping on an October evening in Detroit. A 27-city onslaught, Seether’s schedule has a portion of its tour locked down and has released a list of cities that will soon be added to the band’s master plan.

Here’s the tour so far:

Sept. 20 – Boston, Mass., House Of Blues
Sept. 21 – Sayreville, N.J., Starland Ballroom
Sept. 22 – Baltimore, Md., Pier Six Pavilion
Sept. 23 – Norfolk, Va., NorVa
Sept. 25 – Saint Petersburg, Fla., Jannus Live
Sept. 27 – Atlanta, Ga., The Tabernacle
Sept. 28 – Sauget, Ill, Pop’s
Sept. 29 – Oklahoma City, Okla., Diamond Ballroom
Oct. 1 – Tempe, Ariz., The Marquee
Oct. 8 – Blackfoot, Idaho, El Centario Saloon

Oct. 19 – Grand Rapids, Mich., Orbit Room
Oct. 20 – Detroit, Mich., The Fillmore Detroit

In addition to Sick Puppies and Kyng, the tour includes special guests Young Guns through Oct. 3 and Eye Empire Oct. 5-20. What’s that? Don’t see those dates on the schedule? Read on.

Along with naming dates, cities and venues, Seether has a to-book list of towns for the “Triple Threat” tour that includes yet-to-be-scheduled shows in Kansas City, Chicago, Dayton, Clifton Park (New York), Pomona, Modesto, Seattle, Spokane, Magna (Utah), Denver, Des Moines and Indianapolis.

But wait, there’s more. Headlining the inaugural “The Rise Above Fest” that will raise money for the National Alliance On Mental Illness (NAMI), the Sept. 3 event at the Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion will also include performances by Buckcherry, Puddle Of Mudd, Black Stone Cherry and Otherwise.

If it came to like Chicago House Of Blues and i could get in for under $10 I would go. Seether was pretty good when I saw them last year.

Kyng is a good band, the only one I'd consider going for.
