I already play with my two cats and drink coffee while I get ready, so adding some metal will be the icing on the groggy morning cake.

Glad you're digging those songs.
I wanna make You're Cut Off my unofficial last song of every show (I won't really do that because it would get old after a while) just because of the name. I know its about drinking, but when you are doing a show, the lyrics also hold very true.

Okay, I found it on YouTube, but it sounds like the original with backing vocals from Sabaton's singer during the chorus. Did I find the wrong song?

They re-recorded it, you can hear the background Synths for example. But this is Sabaton playing Amon Amarth.

You seem to have a great taste in music after browsing all your playlists, and i have a question. How are you able to get on a radio station? Ive always been interested in getting one of my own.
You seem to have a great taste in music after browsing all your playlists, and i have a question. How are you able to get on a radio station? Ive always been interested in getting one of my own.
Thanks man. That means a lot.
Honestly, it took me 3 things.
1.) Passion
2.) Time
3.) CONNECTIONS!
The third one being the most important.
I had someone who found me on Facebook who wanted me to do an hour long show of Rock because I knew about Rock music. but 26 shows later I made it an hour of Metal and some rock with a lot of people taking notice. Another connection got me where I am now by doing what I love for that sole purpose.
It also takes a great deal of time to do the show I do because I over think everything. I take hours to make a playlist and after that listen back to it to see if it flows together or not. My show premiers at 5am on Tuesdays, some weeks I get done recording at 10PM Monday to send it to the stations because I want it to be the most up to date best show I can make it.
But again, you gotta have all 3 of those to make it happen, no matter what style of music you play.

Thanks for the fantastic information. I have plenty of the first 2 but 3....... not so much.... any tips to help me change that?
Thanks for the fantastic information. I have plenty of the first 2 but 3....... not so much.... any tips to help me change that?
That's where it becomes tough. My connections found me first before I found them. Like Facebook for example I always talk about music and stuff like that exposing people to music they may not know yet. Ever since I got Facebook. Id go to the shows and just talk with the bands afterwards and just show my appreciation for good music.
I feel very fortunate to be where I'm at right now. It all just fell into place as it should. I guess the best way to go about it is to go the free, public or internet radio route and promote yourself and what you are able to offer for a show. You gotta make it something that is not happening on that current station, or something that is an improvement over what they have.
Its a very tough route. I don't know how I could have done it anyother way then I have.

needs more Lucky Animals :D
I actually like the song, Epicloud is an album that I cant skip any track on. It all flows together so well. I did play Lucky Animals when I got an advanced version of the song.
Not this coming Tuesday, but Next Tuesday I am going to give people a giant mindfuck. Absolutely ZERO Metal or Hard Rock. Nothing but my favorite Rap, Hip-Hop, Orchestral, Jazz, Blues, Swing, and Post Rock songs. I've been wanting to do this for a while and I think with the fanbase I have now *Apparently over 2,000 listeners a week per airing now* I think I can do this without abandoning what my show is about.
