Disposable Heroes and Damage Inc. I wish you could let us choose three because I definitely would have Welcome home(sanatarium) as my third.
You didn't actually vote for Damage Inc.

It only lets me vote for one song, so I chose disposable heroes and the thread is asking to choose two favorites, so i dropped my 2 cents. :hmm:

I think I can safely put that song in my bottom 5 Metallica songs from their first 5 albums.

My favorite is definitely Sanitarium but Battery and Master of Puppets are pretty equal to me.

I went with Battery and Welcome Home (Sanitarium), but I do think I could have picked any song except for The Thing That Should Not Be and Orion. Both are awesome songs, but the other 6 are just better. I'd probably give Leper Messiah the immediate runner-up spot here.

Had to go with Master and Sanitarium. Probably my 2 favorite Metallica songs.

Welcome Home (Sanitarium) and Disposable Heroes. Title track would've been a close third, since it's the greatest song ever to jam on guitar :horns:

Honestly, I cannot stand this album anymore
I chose Disposable Heroes and Orion, those have always had a special place with me.
It only lets me vote for one song, so I chose disposable heroes and the thread is asking to choose two favorites, so i dropped my 2 cents. :hmm:
It should have let you vote for, theoretically, everything, because there's no real option to have a minimum or maximum number of choices.
NOTE: ANYONE WHO PICKS MORE THAN TWO WILL GET THEIR ASS HANDED TO THEM BY ES156. I ALREADY HAD TO HAVE HIM TAKE AWAY INDESTRUCTIBLE'S VOTE FOR EVERY OPTION ON MY RIDE THE LIGHTNING POLL.

I chose Disposable Heroes and Orion
These.
Disposable Heroes is by far my favorite Metallica song and I absolutely love Orion. Orion was one of the first Metallica songs that I ever heard. Battery and The Thing That Should Not Be are pretty close to second though as well.

This album falls into three tiers for me.
Title track and Thing
Orion, Heroes, Leper and Sanitarum
Battery and Damage Inc.
I almost voted for The Thing That Should Not Be.
Then again I also voted for Battery.

That's weird because it's not working for me. It only lets me vote for one song or else I would have voted for Damage inc as well because the poll only let me vote for one song or else I would have obviously voted for two, I wouldn't lie to you my man, but it's all good charlie. :hmm:
As I stated before, Disposable Heroes and Damage inc, and WELCOME HOME(sanatarium) as my third(if i had the option).

I think its not letting me vote for another one because I submitted my vote after i checked on Disposable heroes instead of checking on two songs. :eyes::hecho:

Disposable Heroes and Welcome Home(Sanitarium)You say this, but like a dick, you vote for everything - and just after we got finished discussing what an asshole move it was in the other thread.
...and you wonder why you have a hard time getting along with people on here.
Anyway, my votes go to MoP and Disposable Heroes. For what it's worth, Welcome Home (Sanitarium) is a very close third.

Didn't realize how many people loved Disposable heroes. Its a great song live as well, even though lars can't play that song if his life depended on it, but i just ignore his part and listen to hammit and james doodling :D

I'm with Manky. Orion being my first tho. Seriously the best instrumental song ever.
Whilst I think Disposable Heroes is nothing short of brilliant, it getting a clear lead on the title track has to do with the inverse of ravenheart's Enter Sandman theory, i.e. people love it because it isn't overplayed.

The Thing That Should Not be for the Lovecraftian influence, and Disposeable Heroes for being the best song Metallica ever recorded. :rocker:

So tough to pick just 2 from my favorite album of all time. Damage Inc + the title track for me. Always great to see Disposable Heroes getting some love. My order of the album would go like this:
1) Damage Inc
2) Master of Puppets
3) Battery
4) Disposable Heroes
5) The Thing That Should Not Be
6) Orion
7) Sanitarium
8) Leper Messiah
