Nils Patrik Johansson – vocals (Astral Doors/Lions Share)
Rowan Robertson – guitar (DC4/ex-Dio)
‘Arry Gogstead – bass (Paul Di'Anno/Tim "Ripper" Owens)
Rick Hagan – drums (Paul Di'Anno/Tim "Ripper" Owens)
Geoff Nicholls – keyboards (Black Sabbath)

Finally, the sensible thing is done. Nils Patrik Johansson fronting a Dio tribute. Although apparently Johansson, Robertson, Hagan and Gogstead have previously toured as a Dio tribute under the name Queenstreet in Norway only.

Tour dates in Scandinavia only so far.

November
6 - Larvik, Norway
7 - Drammen, Norway
8 - Bergen, Norway
9 - Rjukan, Norway
10 - Jevnaker, Norway
16 - Rock at Sea - Sweden

I would totally see this.

Pretty stupid that the majority of the band had nothing to do with Dio when he was alive.

Yeah, because most tribute bands contain former members of the band in question :eyes:

People appear to be making such a big deal about this one. That's why it's stupid, if you're gonna make a big deal out of a bunch of no-names (including Rowan really, excluding Nicholls) they should at least be no-names with connections.

Not sure anyone really is making a big deal out of this... the band sent a press release to the news websites, they posted it... that's all.

People SHOULD be making a big deal of it though, because it's Nils Patrik Johansson (and also because they're probably going to play a bunch of criminally underrated tracks from 'Lock Up The Wolves'). They probably won't and most people will probably miss an outstanding show through pure ignorance, but the rest of the members are pretty inconsequential, to be honest.

If this tour ends up being confined to Scandinavia and mainland Europe and doesn't come here, but they add a date in an accessible Swedish or Danish city, I will seriously consider travelling for this.

2, very obviously. But it's not remotely important.
