If you're talking about the OP on The Rush Forum, I think it's because these dates haven't been officially announced. So the person figured they wouldn't post anyhthing unless somebody asked in case the dates do change.

If it's gonna be in the fall, looks like it'll be an arena tour. I thought Rush have consistently played amphitheaters for the last ten years or so?

I'll try and be at the DC show. I've heard a rumor that they might be touring with an orchestra though, could possibly be a deal breaker.

edit: If the DC and Indy shows really are outside then the orchestra thing probably isn't true.

Yeah. They always play at Irvine Meadows when they come to SoCal. It'll be weird seeing them at the pond.

The Indy show had better fucking not be at Conseco, that place has the worst acoustics ever. I'll travel to another city if they play indoors in Indy.

Hmmm... I wonder if SJ will be seated or not.
It would be awesome to see Rush in an open floor setting for once. But I doubt it's gonna happen.

Could be better but there's still a lot of cool stuff in there. I'm looking forward to the Clockwork Angels stuff, Big Money, Manhattan Project, and Red Sector A.

Still, I really would like to see Caravan and Working Man swapped for Seven Cities of Gold and Passage to Bangkok.

Literally no '70s material except for Spirit of Radio, damn. I love the 80s Rush albums though, especially Power Windows, so if I can figure out a way to get to the Gibson Amphitheater from Westwood I'll go for sure!

Literally no '70s material except for Spirit of Radio, damn.

Permanent Waves was writen/recorded in 1979 but the album was released in 1980. The only 70s song they're doing is Working Man, but since Geddy can't sing that stuff anymore and they only do a couple songs from the 70s each tour anyways, this really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

I'm guessing the concert will be set A with the alternate songs being available as extras like they did with the S&A DVD.
