This probably wont be announced for months, but this was just announced....literally! I just heard it on my local FM Metal station.

Can't wait for this. Hopefully they bring their current European tourmates Xandria with them  that would be an awesome show.

Insomnium and Alestorm is a hell of a bill. I'll have to try to get into Epica before then.

Edit: with that said, I still don't understand why Alestorm won't just do a headlining tour.

INSOMNIUM

Wait, there's a band called Destiny Potato?

Guess that leaves Xandria out, but I can't complain

Alestorm's always a good time, System Divide can GTFO, and I don't know what the hell a destiny potato is.

INSOMNIUM

This!

And I guess this is what the guitarist from Alestorm was talking about when he said that they'd be back in November.

Edit: Epica better come to Chicago this time! They didn't play the Chicago date of their last tour. It was just an off-date with Scar Symmetry and The Agonist.

November is in the fall, not winter.

So because two dates announced are in November means that there won't be any in December when Winter begins right?

Thanks guy!

November 5th is a month and a half away from winter. And you called it a winter tour.

Was mentioned in another thread that Alestorm would be supporting. Was hoping it would be in support of Eluveitie for a true album tour in the US... This bill is not too shabby though. Hoping for a stop in Atlanta.

I can't complain about it. On Friday I learned that The Sunk'N Norwegian is about the bar of the same name in River Falls, Wisconsin, which is where I live now. I thought that was pretty damn cool.

Eluveitie will be back for a possible headlining tour I'm sure. The new album is doing too good for them not to.

There probably won't be a single date of this tour during winter.

Looks like a decent lineup though. Will probably attend if it's convenient and not too expensive.

I had to travel from Atlanta to Orlando to see their headlining show before they toured with Children of Bodom. Was a great show. I was already in town for the Daytona 24 as I am a motorsports photographer. Really am hoping this winter they come back and headline... their headline shows are really awesome as it becomes a greatest hits setlist. When they support they play a lot of new album stuff and that is not their best sets I do not think.

Alestorm tonight in Atlanta!

I'm thinking about going to the Toronto show since that's the closest they're getting to me. I should see them live at least once, plus it would also be nice to see how hot Simone is with my own eyes.

I might go to the Montreal date to see Insomnium  but I don't care that much about the other bands, so it'll depend on my funds.

Insomnium was supposed to tour here this spring but it fell through...Dissapointed with this as they will get a really small set but at least its something

Damn I wanted to see Insomnium headline but I might go anyways. And hopefully the exposure will lead to a headlining tour in the future.
