fapfapfapfapfapfapThis.

Several times on this forum, when the topic of "shows / tours you most wish you had seen" comes up, I mention this. If I had a time machine and decided to go back and see just one tour, this would be it.

Interesting. Napalm Death should change their set up once in awhile ;)

Wicked sets, but I prefer seeing Carcass after Necroticism.

Rise Above isn't the Black Flag cover. They have their own song with that title.

Didn't notice that when I got the set from setlist.fm. Made the change now.

Gross yet oddly appropriate in this situation.

Not quite as awesome but close were two tours that were simultaneously touring the US in 1992--

The Campaign for Musical Destruction with
Napalm Death
Carcass
Cathedral
Brutal Truth

and the Complete Control tour with
Obituary
Agnostic Front
Cannibal Corpse
Malevolent Creation

saw these shows on back-to-back nights at the Gothic Theater in Englewood, CO.

I didn't like Napalm Death in this incarnation, the lack of a second guitarist really showed. Compare the video of this to the awesome Live Corruption video taped a year later and the difference is huge. Not that I still wouldn't have gone to see this if I could have but as I recall, none of these Earache bands were officially released in the U.S. until the summer of 1990 so in 1989 I hadn't heard of them yet.

Saw that Complete Control tour in Atlanta. I thought Agnostic Front stole the show. Saw the Campaign for Musical Destruction in Vienna when I was over there on my junior year abroad in 1991/1992, but it was Entombed, Carcass, Cathedral and Confessor. Still have the long-sleeve shirt.
