Deal with it.

The best part about Radiohead, and to me why they're one of the greatest bands ever, is that each member is such a talented musician. Almost every song on the setlist was re-tooled for a live setting and everything translated so well. For example, Bloom (and for that matter, most of The King Of Limbs) don't even feature most of the band members, but they've re-worked each song so it's unique in its live performance. That, and every other song had so much added to its performance. I'm not the hugest fan of the last two Radiohead albums, but the way they played those songs live, I was actually looking forward to hearing more new songs than old ones. It was so good.

I shat myself when the opening piano chords to Pyramid Song started. One of my favorite Radiohead songs off my favorite Radiohead album. Myxomatosis was especially heavy, as one could guess. There There and Paranoid Android were brilliant and chaotic. The brand new songs were all great, but I'm really fond of The Daily Mail. It's another piano-based song like Pyramid Song or Videotape. Awesome stuff.

I couldn't even tell you how amazing it would be if they played more stuff I would have liked to hear, but their performance tonight was absolutely stunning. In my top 10 performances for sure.

Opening band was called Other Lives. They were okay. They kind of reminded me of a jazzier version of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes. But Radiohead was where it was at tonight.

Radiohead: 10/10
Other Lives: 7/10

I so wanted to swoop in and post the setlist before you because I was tired of your posts clogging up my Facebook but I decided to be the bigger person. ;)

:drool:

There were a few points where before a song started that Thom and Johnny were on guitars and I thought they were going to bust out I Might Be Wrong or You And Whose Army, which would've been insane

I saw Radiohead w/ The Liars (opening) on the In Rainbows tour. I had a hard time seeing the stage since it was like a 20,000 GA show even with being up front. Anyway Thom Yorke and Co. slayed it, everything sounds as good or even better live then on the albums. I hope this tour comes to Vancouver.

MY SEAT WAS THE ONLY ONE IN ITS ROW. TOP OF THE ROW AT THE BACK OF THE SPRINT CENTER! Forever alone ;_;

It's actually a lot smaller than it seems, but I'll probably splurge a bit next time to get a bit closer

Radiohead is about as metal as Lady Gaga, and yet this not metal blasphemy will stay.

They played 0 songs off their best album, The Bends. So no, I shall call for this to be moved to General Chat. :D

Street Spirit was going to be the closer, but they cut it.

And they did play a song off their best album. They played Pyramid Song!

If I can afford it, I'd love to see this band. Never seen them before.
