Sold out crowd - way more of a sausage-fest than I expected. Still had fun. Opening acts Janus and Middle Class Rut were pretty good. One of the new Janus songs was one of the heaviest of the night. Kinda like those guys. Middle Class Rut is only 2 guys and that impressed me more than the actual music. My friend described them as Janes Addiction meets White Stripes and that would be a decent way to describe them... minus the talent. The 2 popular songs they have went over really well. Overall a fun Monday night show.

Still Running was the highlight by a mile for me. That song is so much heavier live and was the only time I truly went ballistic. I love Antisaint as the opener and Another Know It All is a great early tune to get you fired up. Envy and Clones towards the end are buzzkillers and I used that time to mingle and look for friends. Also as good of a song I Get It is, they should play it before Still Running. I had a hard time getting into it after Still Running and felt like I was just going through the motions.

Very few bands play a new song as the final encore but it worked well. Janus was hanging outside the doors as people rolled out talking with fans, taking pics and selling cd's. More opening bands should do that in my not-so-humble opinion.

If you go to Rams Head Live in Baltimore, get there early and eat at Joe Squared. Food was nomtacular!

I honestly would love to see this band. They're like Tool-lite.

I actually really like these guys. Shame they are playing our shitfest.

They are playing here Friday, but the show sold out yesterday before I got tickets. Guess I am not going.

I described them that exact way to a friend. More accessible, sing-a-long Tool. I'm still baffled at the lack of women but maybe it was because it was Monday night and they played a free concert here last year for the Ravens Kickoff party. It still sold out but I cracked jokes most of the night about Bob Evans and Jimmy Dean...
