terrible loss, I didn't know much of his music but I know he was well respected and even recently Sammy Hagar was speaking highly of him and what he hoped to see from him in the future

I read a more in depth article on the suicide earlier this morning, it was absolutely depressing to read. From what I read he seemed like a truly tormented guy. I really regret not picking up the first Montrose record until after he died, he used to play shows near my home pretty frequently!
