I tried searching for a thread on the same but couldn't find anything so we'll have to make do with a new one I suppose ;)

As we all concur, the album artwork is quite an essential element of a band's output especially while picking out a relatively obscure band in a record shop down the street.

So lets use this thread to share some of your favorite album art from past and present.

I'll start off with one from Opeth's early days. There was always something which struck me about this album art when I checked this CD out all those years back and it still is one of my favorite artworks.

+1. I can really appreciate the head thing as a piece of woodwork but I think it makes a terrible cover, I like the deluxe edition a little more.
