BamBeatz, a up-and-coming hip hop producer from Florida, has decided to celebrate the 20th anniversary release of Metallica's self-titled album (often referred to as The Black Album) and the 10th anniversary of Jay-Z's Black by combining the two into a mixtape. The first track, Moment Of Clarity, can be heard below and is also available for free download.

I'm surprised this wasn't done 7 or 8 years ago.

You realize they have nothing to do with the making of this album right?

Yeah, its just a mixtape someone is doing, like the Grey album and Wugazi

I wouldn't get too upset. From that example he's barely bothered actually using the Metallica songs anyway.

Not my thing, but Metallica has nothing to do with it.

Some people really need to take a chill pill when it comes to this band.

I can. I hated the shit outta that album. I quit listening to Linkin Park for over seven years after hearing that piece of shit.

I don't know... they had to at least sign off on it to let him use the music and name, I just need a reason to convince myself that they're dead because every time I think there's a glimmer of hope that they've still got some magic left, they fuck it up somehow.

Metallica's magic days are undoubtedly over. This Jay-Z thing doesn't really bother me though, at least I don't have to buy it to know I don't wanna hear it :D

In fact, that sucked. Just as bad as Linkin Park alone.

No they didn't.

Shit like this is made all the time. There's like 6 different mashups of Jay-z's Black Album and the Beatles' White Album

It is, but Arctic Monkeys are just one step above that.

Thats pretty horrific, I was hoping for something a little more cohesive. If your gonna do a remix at least make it interesting like this Metallica remix

Hey! I remember hearing that a couple years ago. That was the first "dubsep" song that I ever heard.
