Last show of the tour for Testament. and wow!! what an incredible show! it was my third time seeing testament. they played at the Avalon Night Club which only holds 500 and believe me. it was SOLD OUT. supporting them was Angerhead(local band) Check em out! they ROCK! and Hatriot.
Testament came on around 10:30 got off around midnight. i was in the pit damn near all night. the crowd was Perfect.

Testament Set list:

The Preacher
The New Order
The Persecuted Wont Forget
Practice What You Preach :rocker:
Over The Wall :rocker:
Souls Of Black
Into The Pit :rocker:
The Haunting
Electric Crown

More Than Meets The Eye :rocker:
Disciples Of The Watch
Alone In The Dark(totally unexpected)

Encore:

i would say Testament deserves a 10/10 for this show. non stop energy the whole night. alex was ripping it up on guitar, blew me away as always. chuck billy voice was perfect. loud and aggressive. cant wait till they come back home to the bay area once again.

INTO THE PIT!!!

Pretty much all of my bay area friends were at this show, everyone had a hell of a time I'm sure. Oh and Zetro joined the band for Alone in the Dark from what I've seen on YouTube.

I wonder why they don't do anything from Demonic or Low anymore

Presumably because they're non-Skolnick albums and they're not all that popular. The Gathering was huge, so it's not surprising that they usually play a couple from that one. It's too bad they don't play anything from Low, it's always been one of my favourites.

They played stuff off those two on their Formation headliner and opening for Judas Priest, so I'm sure they'll come back eventually.

Actually when I talked to Skolnick he said he loved playing the songs he didn't record because it was a different challenge.
