Its weird not seeing Janies Crying, And the Cradle Will Rock, and Atomic Punk. I was shocked they did not play Janies on Saturday.

Maybe but I'm glad, as Atomic Punk would be the only song of the three I'd actually care to hear. The set list they have now seems like it will be a lot of fun. I can't wait for Friday!!

I've read that Alex hates Jamie's cryin so I guess that's why they're not playing it.

Girl Gone Bad!?:rocker:

DAMN! I gotta say, Van Halen are seriously stepping it up with the deeper cuts, too bad it replaced Outta Love Again though. How did Wolfgang and Eddie handle the harmonies for that sound though? The chorus for Girl Gone Bad had the Michael Anthony vocal sound all over it.

Waaaay better than Outta Love, which was a weird one to pull out.

They seriously need to replace I'll Wait with Drop Dead Legs.

uuggggghhhhhkkkkk. That song is boring, keyboard laden, repetative, lyrically childish and godawful in every way.

other than that it'e a great song... hahaha

Yeah but there's childish cool like Everybody Wants Some and then there'e childish cheeseball like I'll Wait. To each his own. If u like that one I'm sure you're a fan of Jump too. Both songs are 2 of my least favorite personally.

Funny I was never really a fan of Women in Love but listened to it today and really liked it. It's always cool revisiting old songs with a fresh ear and growing a new appreciation for them.

It's always cool revisiting old songs with a fresh ear and growing a new appreciation for them.Cheese is cheese, and David Lee Roth = a steaming, molten river of it. No two ways around it. I love I'll Wait, and I think Jump is a good song, but I don't ever need to hear it again. If I'm listening to Roth Van Halen, I prefer stuff like Atomic Punk, Little Guitars, Mean Street, and Light Up the Sky. Indeed, to each his own.

Some of my favorites too. I can say I like I'll Wait but would have left to beat traffic during Jump if I had my way at the last tour.

This could describe quite a lot of VH songs...

Can anyone tell me what time Kool and the Gang hit the stage? The show in Buffalo is starting at 7:30PM but would that be door opening time or show time?

I would not support van halen with my $ considering how they treated Michael Anthony, and how bad Roth sounds nowadays, but I think having kool and the gang open is a really fun and different move. Better than a no name band, and gives u a little bit more bang for your buck. Their hits are super burnt out, but kinda cool to say you got to see them considering how big they've been for so long.

To the poster that said replace I'll Wait with Drop Dead Legs... kudos!! DDL is in my top 5. That being said there are about 10 songs I'd replace that song with, 1st would be Little Guitars. Why... he doesn't even play keys on the song... it's a tape, like The Who with Eminence Front (though in fairness... that's a must hear song for me at a Who show)...

rant over!!

Can't wait for tomorrow!!!
