I'd see it, but I'd also be prepared for what might be Megadeth's least inspired set to date.

And once this thing gets officially announced, I'll change the original post so all the dates are conveniently not on page 5.

Good man. I'm guessing it will be right after the conclusion of Gigantour, but this way I feel way better about not going.

Something tells me this is gonna be another small tour like the Alice Cooper/Rob Zombie and Slayer/Rob Zombie tours from last year.

OraclesofAgony
02-18-2012, 10:34 PM
Maybe I'll be able to see Megadeth this year after all then. Their recent sets aren't so good, but given the right venue and timeframe I'd definitely go to this.

Hopefully the tour has a similar itinerary to the first leg of the Zombie/Cooper tour, so it comes near me.

I'll go for both, even though Th1rt3en was garbage.

I'm hoping maybe for an Atlantic City show, it's too soon for Megadeth to play the immediate Philly area and Rob Zombie did Reading last year

It looks like this could be a few shows around Rock On The Range and Rocklahoma. So I'm hoping for a Michigan date for this.

Read a few posts up, that's exactly what it is(like the 5FDP/Trivium tour)

Zombie comes to Saskatoon almost every tour, but since Megadeth was just here I'm thinking this'll pass over us. :(

I agree and that means most likely no Denver date which also means I'm going to miss Zombie

If this is a mini B-market tour set up around festivals such as Rocklahoma......Springfield MO might actually get it.

New Orleans is definitely a B market. Don't like Zombie but wouldn't mind seeing Megadeth again. Although I should probably just wait for Maiden.

Florida used to be a main tour location for Megadeth before Endgame, so I hope this hits here.

If New Orleans is a " B Market" what the hell does that make Oshawa (where Megadeth played last week)...I'm figuring somewhere in the "J through N Market".

Maidenmagic
02-19-2012, 08:03 PM
Probably a B too. When the Jagermeister music tour Anthrax and Megadeth both admit that they hadn't been to New Orleans recently. Scott Ian: "I know it's been awhile. I'm sorry man. Dave Mustaine: "It's been a loooong time since we've been here. (Since 1999.) Slayer hadn't been to the city since 2004. I have no idea about Anthrax. The only reason they came because thu already went to the major cities on the American carnage tour. If a band ever comes to New Orleans it's almost always on an additional leg.

If this comes close enough I think I wanna take my dad because he loves Rob Zombie. He hasn't been to a concert in 20 years so this would be great for him

I've fell asleep during The Black Dahlia Murder twice. At Summer Slaughter 2008 and 2011. The first time was because I was too tired from moshing for Kataklysm and the second time was because I had been up for like 50 hours and had to go to work after the show.

He's 60 and his wild years kinda passed him by and he litterally will sleep through anything. He doesn't really care.

The only time I fell alseep during a live performance was Phantom of The Opera in NYC.

It was in high school, and my high school band, took and 18 hour trip from Wisconsin to NYC and went to broadway that night on a greyhound style bus. FUCK that, Sleep time!

that's disappointing, I would love to see Rob Zombie but I'm pretty sure the NJ date is my last day of college so it would be an extreme hassle moving out from CT, driving to Long Island to drop my stuff of, then driving all the way to NJ to catch the show.

Steev

definitely looking at the NJ date, assuming I can get decent seats(all seats up front)

Should've figured this wouldn't be coming to So Cal since the Slayer/Zombie tour didn't last year. No biggie though. I've seen Megadeth 4 times the past couple years and I'm not really digging their current set.

If Megadeth can improve their set, a road trip to Scranton may be in order. Not much else going on in April-May for me concert wise, so I could probably justify it.

You won't be saying sweet when you see Lacuna Coil live. They were god awful and I actually like a couple of their songs. On the other hand, Volbeat is incredible live. Highly highly underrated live band.

And Cristina wasn't all that hot either. Didn't matter if she was, they were terrible.
