I always wonder if bands like Maiden and Van Halen actually thought "let's save some of these zingers we have for our second album" when they were playing them before their first record was out.

I'm assuming they planned to save Wrathchild, Innocent exile, Drifter etc. right after they recorded the first album.

I really wonder that with Primus. Primus put out a live album with songs from their 2nd and 3rd albums before their first album was released.

You posted this on the eve of Iron Maiden announcing the "Maiden England North American 2012 Tour" and I also happen to be wearing my Iron Maiden shirt today.

Surely this cannot be a coincidence.
