Ah, looks like Slash is the first unofficial band for Rockfest this year.

If my bassist wants to go I'll go, otherwise I'll skip it.

What if a different friend wants to go?

You know if we tried hard enough we could probably predict this shit fest w/ atleast 80% accuracy.

I don't listen to too much 98.9, but here's my guess:

Seether
Halestorm
Cory Taylor/Stone Sour
Burn Halo

I'd say FFDP, but they've been on a bunch of 98.9 stuff the past few years.

I doubt Stone Sour bc I thought they are/were working on new album. Those asshats in Shinedown almost seem a lock. FFDP seem like they'd headline. Korn are booked I think, Godmack isn't touring & Disturbed is doing us a favor by not touring or making music. Not like there's any other diversity in the station.

Godsmack is touring with Staind and Halestorm. And Shinedown is bigger than FFDP, and why are they asshats?

I've always had a very strong dislike of Shinedown.

What if a different friend wants to go?

He is usually the one that goes with me to most shows I go to. Unless I go by myself or meet up with someone at a show.

A different friend wants to, sure, but I'm the usually the one to ask if someone wants to go to a show with me.

*totally are of the smartass-ness behind that, just pointing it out*

I never saw the huge deal with Slash, he's a good guitarist but everyone I know praises him as god.

Slash isn't even real. I haven't believed in Slash since I was 5.

Also May 4th in Virginia Beach, at the amphitheatre. That date just isn't announced yet.
