At the Lock Up show yesterday, I've got a flyer for NASUM/BRUTAL TRUTH/DROPDEAD on May 21st at the Sala Rosa, so expect a tour anouncement soon. Dan Lilker approved this information. :rocker:

The opening band in Montreal will be local powerviolence group Powercup.

Hmmm. I thought they were just doing fests. Can't complain, I just hope they don't pull a Carcass. Also wondering if this means BT is at CIT.

Though this tour is orgasmic and won't come anywhere down here, it would have been cooler if Nasum was doing only fests, makes it more special. Oh well, not much to complain about.

Damn, wish I was in cleveland for that date. Love that venue.I don't know, man. The stage is just too small for most of the bands, don'tcha think?

I mean, the concept of the place is cool, and the atmosphere in there is very DIY / punk. :punk:

But yeah - the bands look like they're constantly on top of each other or trying to watch their feet so they don't wander too close to the front of the stage and fall off. :D

(They can crank it up pretty fuckin' loud in there, though. :rocker:)

Seattle, May 26th at the Highline with Black Breath, Massgrave & Theories

Anyway, I'm sure they will be announcing more dates soon enough. BUT, my friend and I are planning to take the bus to random cities this summer and just walk around the downtown areas and shit. I texted him today - he said he'd be willing to do the trip around May 19th. I'M SEEING NASUM IN CLEVELAND MOTHERFUCKERS. And perhaps Chicago and Detroit if they play there, cuz we're probably going there too :D

I feel like if Nasum would have stuck to just doing MDF & CIT, nobody would call it a cash grab. If this is really their last tour ever, I don't even think anybody would have complained if they hit the biggest cities in the US (NYC, LA, Chicago), but when they start playing tiny ass places like Europa in Brooklyn and The Barbary in Philly, it kinda seems the criticisms are validated..even though I can't imagine they are making much money off these shows.

I mean, I don't care either way, cause i'm gonna go to Philly / MDF and i'll have a blast, but I can at least get where people are coming from.

I'd rather have more Autopsy shows then more Nasum shows

Well that's why i'm not the guy on the MDF boards calling it the "cash grab across america" tour. I'm fine with more Nasum shows, it just seems to me that the whole experience is being cheapened by doing so many more dates when it seemed like it was so super selective where they'd play. They should have just announced a final comprehensive world tour, then I don't think anybody would have had an issue.

Can you keep your ear to the ground regarding tickets? I have no idea where to get them and their website isn't helping. Will do. I'm not sure NTC even does official pre-orders, because I don't know if they ever have to deal with selling out shows. Nothing against them, I just don't know if it's an issue for a joint like they are. Frankly, Im surprised they even have a web site.

I believe I may be attending the show in Cleveland with Moobys. That means you should go, Nat.Agreed. It won't be a lack of desire that keeps me from going, you can bet on that. :fist:

Like I said above, timing might be a bitch, but we'll see.

Some dude started an event page for the LA show. It says Brutal Truth /Black Breath will be the openers. I honestly would rather have Brutal Truth than Exhumed/Ghoul/Toxic Holocaust(and I love those 3 live). And Black Breath is a big plus and so much fun live. And also I know ACxDC is trying to jump on the show.

Black Breath instead of Dropdead? I hope this isn't true. :hmm:

Dropdead never comes to west coast. CDF was a miracle. Before that, last time they came was like 10 years ago.

I really wish both Black Breath and Dropdead would be on the tour. Black Breath is so sick, live and on record!

I'm not even too familiar with Nasum but:
1. the show in Toronto is on a Sunday (so I won't miss work)
2. it's at the Annex Wreckroom, a place I've really started to love in the last year
So I'm going. I do have BT's Sounds of the Animal Kingdom and Kill Trend Suicide and really enjoyed them.

Anyone going to the Rhode Island show? Apparently Jacob Bannon from Converge is gonna be doing guest vocals on a couple songs!

Well I guess no Exhumed,Ghoul,Toxic, Brutal Truth,or Black Breath like rumored but I'm still cool with this line up. For those who don't know, this is the Grind Nausea with Oscar Garcia(original vocalist for Terrorizer) . And Early Graves rule live. A bit pricey compared to other Grind shows, but worth it.

Bleh... don't really care for that lineup. Early Graves is cool but I would MUCH rather see Exhumed or Brutal Truth.

Both lead singers died tragicly, so it kinda makes sense they're playing together.
