Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, so forgive me if it has been and I simply haven't paid attention.

Dino responded to a fan's question on his Facebook page saying that the band is going on tour in May, and there's already three festival dates in late May/early June (in Europe, however) that seem to verify the statement.

There is a few other great tours that will be happening in May that everyone here will be jizzing for....That's all i can say for now.

This one I was not aware of, and sounds awesome. I wanna see Gene Hoglan with Fear Factory.

I know.

I'll give a few hints without giving anything away.

One Black Metal band that just got done touring late 2011 is coming back, and one that hasn't played in a long time is coming back.

There's. That's all I'll say.

I fuckin love FF man. Hopefully they come to Chicago, not Sauget.

And hopefully the black metal band that hasn't toured in a long time is Gorgoroth (I know, rape, but still.....)

LEGALLY, I can't say you are right or wrong, but nothing's offical quite yet. But I think you guys will be happy.

The other band on the other hand....oh yeah, that's official.

But back on the real topic here. I wanna see Fear Factory. I'll bribe Dino to play ANYTHING off Archetype.

Transgression I get the hate for (although there are few songs I really like on it) but why Archetype? That is a great album all the way through.

I just can't stand FF without Dino. I'd rather listen to Digimortal (aside from Back The Fuck Up.........)

Transgression is one of their best, Archetype is great too.

I'll go out on a limb and say Archetype is just as good as Digimortal. If you figure in Back The Fuck Up I'd almost give the nod to Archetype. Digimortal was not a good album coming off an Obsolete album that I thought was pretty damn good.

I would say that Soul of A New Machine and Digimortal are the weaker Fear Factory albums. Good albums, but their other stuff is better

Transgression is universally hated among Fear Factory fans. Indestructible is just being, ya know, himself. Archetype is the one I'd listen to next.

Those are both good.

Soul of a New Machine is their debut and it's basically a death metal record. Good stuff.

I think they did this before in 2010 with the Suffocation, Behemoth, and BTBAM tours. The BTBAM tour beat out the rest, cancelling the other two resulting in a Long Island show the next day with a mix of both lineups.

Hopefully Behemoth wins this time, then Overkill and Fear Factory play Long Island the next day
