Wall of Sleep might have taken their name from 'Behind The Wall of Sleep' by Black Sabbath?

And I think Space Eater took their name from a Gamma Ray song?

There's a band from the east coast of Canada (New Brunswick, I think) called Eric's Trip, which was also a song off Sonic Youth's Daydream Nation album.

There are a ton of cover / tribute bands that are named after songs from the bands they cover...these should probably be excluded (not sure if any have been included yet or not).

The first two I thought of before clicking on the thread were Boris and Obscura.

Any modern pop-punk band is named after Blink-182 or New Found Glory in some way, shape, or form.

Hey, and the most obvious: Between the Buried and Me - Counting Crows

Chelsea Grin : Bring Me The Horizon :eyes:

Chelsea Grin was a band before BMTH released Suicide Season. And the song is titled "Chelsea Smile" anyway...

And for the record, Chelsea Smile has a better ring to it. Considering the general idea and all ;)

Bloodbath - Unleashed

Since Bloodbath emulates the '90s Swedish death metal bands, I would say it's quite possible they were named after that song, but I have not found anything confirming or denying it.
