Sure its a long shot but thought I'd also try looking on here.

I'm trying to find a band to join. I do vocals and can really go across multiple genres (hardcore, metalcore, death metal).

Its horribly hard trying to find a band that will actually want to do stuff and I have the resorces where all I need is a band that wants to play and I can get shows early.

Thats all. Lets see if anyone says anything

Me too. I'm a drummer, I just don't have any drums out here. Not to be arrogant or anything, but I can bring the beats.

haha I'm actually pretty good at vocals and can do my part great. Thought I'd put my listing out on this site and thought I'd have a pretty good chance of finding someone.

Funny thing is if I can get a band, I have a family hookup whos in a metal band and told me he'd let my band use all his uber expensive equipment for doing gigs and he'd help get me gigs.

Do you own drums?

At home, which is across the country. I don't really have a place to keep them at the moment, though.

I'm in the same boat. I don't have anything with me, but my dad did mention something about bringing them here for next quarter. As for rehearsal space, the fraternity that I'm in actually has a nice rehearsal space in the basement (with drum set) that could possibly be used. If people wanted this to happen, it probably could (if you guys don't mind the trip up to Evanston and possible weird looks from people. Almost no one here likes metal.)

How far is Evanston from Chicago area?

On the El? From the loop, like 45 minutes. It's literally just north of Chicago though.

I'm not by the loop. I'm like 15 minutes from Allstate Arena.
