So you watched bullshit like Big Momma's House 3 but you didn't even see Hobo With a Shotgun? :hecho:

:lol:That was my intent for this year. I was seeing everything, no matter what it was. Everything on the list with an asterik was something I didn't want to see.

That's just weird to me. I don't need to see Zookeeper to know that it fucking sucks; I can tell just from the trailers/the fact Kevin James is in it. There are much better uses of my time and money than seeing a movie that I know I'm going to hate.

Is Beastly a so bad it's awesome movie? or is it the second coming of Heaven's Gate?

Neither. Beastly was one of those "how did I make through the whole thing?" types of movies. Saying it was painful movie-watching experience would be an understatement.

@Powerslave I did this whole experiment because I am thinking about (possibly) trying to become a movie critic. I figured it would be give a better idea of where I stand on the whole world of films (and I was right, it has). Plus if I were a critic, I wouldn't have a pick of what movies I see. Clearly, I figured movies like Zookeeper, Madea's Big Happy Family or Big Momma's: Like Father, Like Son would suck, but I watched them anyways (Bad movies are fun to write reviews for:D).

i tried doing the same thing too with 2011 movies. It's very easy when there are Red Boxes at every corner of my town. Then I went to college where there weren't really any so I gave up.

"Fast Five" at #3 and "Win Win" at #35. Yeah. I think it's safe to say I don't even know where to begin, so I guess I just won't even start.

Enjoy, everyone.

Don't knock Fast Five till you see it. It actually has a good plot and it's probably the best pure action movie to come out in years. As for Win Win, I am sucker for inspirational sports films, but I didn't think Win Win was anything more than pretty good.

Watched Drive last night and well it was still really good (I'm giving it a 8/10) it wasn't what I expected. I was almost expecting more action.

Watched Bucky Larson Born To Be A Star last night. Wasn't terrible but not amazing.

Finally watched 'A Horrible Way To Die'. Took me a while to get into, cause indie-ass hand held filming made me dizzy. It looked like some shows I've filmed while being hammered outside the pit! However, once I got used to it, it was pretty good actually. Nothing outstanding, but quite enjoyable. I didn't see the twist at the end coming.

Why do you have Fast Five so high in the list. Are you joking?

Not at all. It's an elite action movie imo. I found it to be very well-written, funny, and extremely entertaining. It blew the doors off the rest of the franchise because it had an actual story and fantastic action scenes. Clearly I wasn't alone (7.3 on IMDB, 78% on Rotten Tomatoes). To each his own, but I fucking loved it and completely stand by my high placement on this list.

7.Attack the Block(4.5/5)
6.Source Code(4.5/5)
5.Warrior*(4.5/5)
3.Fast Five(4.5/5)

Were Source Code and Warrior really better than Attack the Block? I may actually have to watch them then.

I don't know if you will think so, but they are both excellent movies that are 100% worth watching.

Source Code was pretty good, but no way it was better than Attack the Block.

I guess I'll watch Source Code sometime. Attack the Block was definitely my movie of the year though
