When the best band on a tour is Trivium, you know you're in trouble.

I hope for a Dir En Grey offdate.

Same here, I would feel uncomfortable going to a show where the ticket I hold in my hand says Asking Alexandria on it.

Except trivium is shitty metalcore. Dir En Grey is actually good.

They are now, but weren't always.

One of my ex-girlfriends used to love DEG, are they any good?

Their whole discography is garbage.

Dir En Grey is quite awesome. Go look 'em up on Youtube to get an idea of what they play. They don't fit on this tour whatsoever.

Every single trivium album is horrible. Including ascendency.

Autopsy playing in Chicago has got me too hyped up to be furious about the U.S. getting another vomit inducing tour, yet Europe gets Exhumed, Rotten Sound and Magrudergrind all in the same show

It boggles me that anyone can still defend Trivium, and I loved Ascendancy.

It would take an Iron Maiden caliber band to get me to go to this horrible tour. DEG wont cut it.

No. On first listen it will probably disappoint the fuck out of you, especially coming from Shogun, but I personally love the album. It just takes a while to grow on you.

Anyway, I highly doubt I will be attending this, unless it's a super convenient date and I have nothing better to do than make fun of scene kids.

honestly Ive never hated an album from them, In Waves reminds me alot of Ascendancy, and thats not a bad thing IMO

It's 2012 and Asking Alexandia is still a thing? These must be the kids who were 13 and 14 back in 2009 and are still in high school, thinking crabcore is still relevant.

I never heard them until late '10 when they opened for ATR, for some reason older bands like them

Not at all. There are quite a few Trivium fans on here.

Personally, I only listen to Ascendancy (a masterpiece of an album if you ask me) but they've really gone downhill with everything since.

I always thought Shogun blew everything else out of the water. Ascendancy is still an amazing album though.

That's kinda good to hear because they are way better than this tour, but that sucks about his voice. Not really too surprising though cause he does some insane shit with his vocals.
