I might go to this. I've been wanting to see Torche for a while and I haven't listened to CoC that much but the stuff I've heard is pretty good.

Torche and Valient Thorr were both awesome when I saw them. I've been dying to see A Storm of Light, plus see COC. This would have been amazing, sucks New Mexico got shafted. :bouville:

Also, you're not cool during Valient Thorr if you don't do the crowd participation shit. You just look like a tool. If Valient Himself wants you to get on the floor and do a viking rowboat, don't be an asshole - DO IT.

I wonder if they're still doing mostly Animosity-era stuff. Judging by the opening bands, they probably aren't.

From what I gather, they're doing mostly stuff from Technocracy and earlier, as well as the new album, which isn't surprising considering they're touring as a three-piece. I've also read that they've been playing 'Vote with a Bullet' and 'Deliverance', which is cool.

i saw them support clutch last week, and honestly im not very familiar with COC prior to deliverance, but they were pretty great. definitely made me want to go and check out those earlier albums.

Huh. That's weird. For the Cleveland show, it is at the Grog shop. They usually only book stoner/indie music. Most metal shows are held at Peabody's

i would say this tour is more on the stoner side of things than metal.

i doubt either of those venues are hardline about what genres they book anyways.
