You'd really like Heartless. Southern Lord's best hardcore band in my estimation. Vitandus is fellow board member daimonos' band too!

It's in late Feb, so depending on my schooling situation, I would love to come up and show my support. Kudos for doing this, this is a really cool project.

Thank you guys so much. I put a lot of work into this and I'm really happy with the result. Like I said, if you would want to make the trip contact me and we'll arrange a place to stay for you. Akron's Mockingbird has also been confirmed and will be replacing October.

Me neither!

Really pumped for ComFail. Heartless and Argus will be sick. Grisly Amputation is great, too. I'm glad you added them, they were my favorite at the last local fest we played.

Akron's Mockingbird has also been confirmed and will be replacing October.:fist: Mockingbird is pretty good. I saw them at a show with Mouth of the Architect a few years ago.

It was at Now That's Class, as a matter of fact - remember that funky joint? :punk:

Grisly Amputation is actually replacing Heartless, as they're going to be in the studio that weekend. Also, there was a scheduling conflict with Mockingbird that was unknown when they confirmed, so unfortunately they won't be playing. Working on a replacement now.

Coolest place ever :fist:Speaking of these two subjects, apparently Mockingbird is playing at Now That's Class next Wednesday with Zvoov and Duunes.

Other upcoming shows there include Weekend Nachos (attention JD) / Skvlt / Masakari / Grin & Bear It / Homewrecker on January 16, and HUNTERS (Chicago sludgy metal reminiscent of Down / Crowbar) / ANTIETAM 1862 (Richmond black metal) / DIVIDED REGIONS (Cleveland death metal) / SILVER SKULL (http://www.metalsetlists.com/showthread.php?t=19160&highlight=silver+skull) (attention Boatvan) (black metal with a 9-year-old drummer & teenage singer / guitarist) on January 19th.

Lineup has been finalized. In lieu of a replacement for Mockingbird, there will be extended sets for most of the bands besides Complete Failure, who will be performing a very special set.

I'm guessing they're playing the new album?

SILVER SKULL (http://www.metalsetlists.com/showthread.php?t=19160&highlight=silver+skull) (attention Boatvan) (black metal with a 9-year-old drummer & teenage singer / guitarist) on January 19th.

I am so glad I found out about these guys. I am 3 times the age of their drummer. (Funny saying that being 23 years old). But this gives me hope that we will all be alright.

Yeah, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, mang, but it looks like my hopes to attend this sweet gig got dashed. That's the weekend before my birthday, and the wifey's throwing me a party on Sunday. Her parents are coming in for the weekend, and she told me she kinda wants me around for all that. Understandable. On the bright side, she did say that I should throw a poker game on Saturday night and shit, so at least I'll still be having fun instead of watching my father-in-law fall asleep in front of the TV while watching the History Channel.

Maybe July, though - or maybe some time before that even. :metal:

So with very little connection with the press in town, I got an article for it in the biggest paper in town! I'm so excited right now
