Fun fact: The circle pit during Exodus' show was the largest ever at the venue (Effenaar). ;)

The bad news: Three songs from the new album.
The good news: All the rest of it is from the first three albums.

Perhaps I might want to see these guys in 2012 after all... :hmm:

Wow, you guys are really gonna pretend that new album of yours never existed huh?

As for Morbid, they're still playing Angel of Disease and Day of Suffering has wormed it's way back in the set. The more Blessed Are The Sick the better.

Also, Sepultura playing Mass Hypnosis? :rocker:

Not an expert on Morbid Angel setlists, but don't they play Where The Slime Live at like every show?

True, but 2 of those 3 are the only good songs on the album, so there's a 'good' to it.

Hell yeah, "I am Morbid" is terrible. The Chorus almost puts me to sleep. Where The Slime Live was one of the first Extreme Metal songs I ever heard.

Anyway it was brutal as f*ck.How in the hell does one confuse Where the Slime Live with I Am Morbid?!?

EDIT: I mean, it's not the same as confusing Chapel of Ghouls with Radikult, but still.

I saw them in June and was amazed at how good they were, even with only 1/2 of the classic line up. Even the guitarist of my side band who only likes the old thrashy stuff had a good time.

It's kinda strange: the only original member now in the band is Paulo... :D

I might check them out someday with Derrick, but I've stopped buying their records after Dante XXI.

I thought "Kairos" was going to be good from the songs they played live.... but just like the title of one of their early songs with Mr. Derrick... it was "More of the Same" :bouville:
