I was talking to Chris earlier tonight. Minnesota was suppose to have a spot on this tour but every venue that could book STS was already booked. FUUUUUUUUU!

It will be a great tour though.

Maybe I'll try and hit this up. Linkplz to a song by them you think I'd like.

This is my favorite song they have done. Short and Sweet (although it's longer live) I use the last riff of the song for commercials and Station IDs

Yeah I do because They were suppose to come here, and now they can't. So I went from fucking excited to fucking bummed.

The Collective is good and all, but I enjoy Carving Desert Canyons much more. Listen (to the whole damn album, of course, but these especially):

The Great Plains (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_U3Q5kEVIE)
Giants (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgMxcSDZQWI)

Ouch. I know tha feel, man. :( hopefully they pull out a bunch of old stuff for this. Also, since there's 2 bands, I wonder if they can get like, a 2 hour set or something...

Also listening to Elitist right now. Wow. It is like, so goddamn average that it flirts with being terrible. "HERP DERP, let's put pointless breakdowns in EVERYWHERE! Kids will love that!"

It's the 2 bands and 2 local bands each show.

Chris said that at least 3 songs from every album will be played. 75 minute set with a 8-10 minute encore.

Saw these guys open for Dream Theater twice in 2009, I really enjoyed them and checked out their studio stuff as well. If they came close for cheap I'd go, but I don't think I care enough to drive down to Philly, especially amidst the other shows I have planned for that time period.

Ooh, okay. That's awesome that each album is getting equal representation. Close set with Black Hills, please.

I'll be at the NYC show.

Tickets for the Cambridge show are only $14 with fees:eek: I am going to try my hardest to go this depending on what time the subways stop running on a Monday. I don't want to get stuck in Boston for the night with no way home.

Haven't seen them in a couple years... I think I may go to this. If there aren't any local bands on this already I think I'll try to get my band to be on the Chicago show.

You should message promoters, not bands!

yeah, I know, just trying to find out who the promoter is and where the show is going to be exactly from chris. he said they couldn't get a NYC date, so it's now in Butler, NJ. hopefully we'll catch some kind of break and get this show, it'd be nice to open for those guys.

Yeah anytime you hear about any potential shows 99% of the time you gotta go through the promoter. The 1% is where you get contacted. The sooner you hear about a show the better.

Hope it works out man, that would be badass!

What Christ told me is that it's a 75 minute set with an 8-10 minute encore. SO that does work out right.

Still wish this was coming to Minnesota. Oh well. I saw them twice last year.
