Some great lists, some shitty lists. Pretty even.

Unsurprisingly bad. I at least thought John Petrucci would have a better list.

The fact that Red is number 1 is really fucking with me.:eek::eek:

This. And John Myung's love of the new RHCP record as well.

There were really only two or three lists that I liked. That, combined with the fact that everyone here has had such a different list from anything I've listened to makes me feel like either I'm missing something this year, or everyone else is. And I thought this year was fantastic...

At least I have somewhat similar taste to the bassist of Dragonforce :D

Max's list was good... then he said Oceano was the best album of the year.
WTF

Max Cavalera Soulfly/Cavalera Conspiracy

Oceano - Contagion

Ocean's Contagion is one of my favorite albums of the year. I love the heavness and the vocals. I also think it has some of the most killer riffs I've heard in a long time! I love this record. Oceano rules!

I actually found a couple of bands on those lists. Nice to see varied tastes, most of it sucks to me but the few good ones really shined for me.

There are a few lights in this sea of crap, but that was still disturbingly badtastic.
