Expo Five is a fun venue. Basically looks like an empty air hangar. Won't be going to this because all these band except for MMI suck, though.

I have a feeling this will be rolling through MA during NEMHF. The Plot In You is the only terrible band on this imo, so I wouldn't mind if it did.

Either way :barf:

I like Whitechapel, Miss May I and After The Burial. Don't really care about the other 2 bands but a few of my friends like Within The Ruins so I'll probably see them. Top 3 bands are solid though.

I might go depending on price. And how I feel about dealing with hardcore dancers that day.

I'm just curious... what does this video sum up that any given Whitechapel video doesn't?

1. Mediocre metalcore, not deathcore.

2. Fucking berets

3. Terrible, unoriginal, unmotivating breakdowns that make up 90% of the song

4. Really average, "meh" screams that sound like 100 other bands

5. Annoying, unoriginal singing that sounds like a 3rd rate Devil Wears Prada knockoff

6. Vomit inducing, friendzone regret-core lyrics, "I'M DOING EVERYTHING TO KEEP U HERE WITH ME/ EVERYTHING I CAN DO TO KEEP UR HEART BEATING", "TELL ME THAT I'M SLEEPING/I GOT TO BE ASLEEP"

7. Edgy pseudo-alt look and gauged ears (Yeah, Phil from Whitechapel has 'em, but he's the only one in that band, and he had them back in '05 when these guys were still in middle school)

8. Trying to have some "deep, artistic" meaning behind the visual story

9. Pretty much no moshable parts, which should be the #1 concern when these types of bands write songs. ;)

I like a lot of metalcore, as you all know. Because of that, I think I'm a good judge of when a metalcore band is shitty. Like TPIY.

REGRETCORE is a label Sergeant D uses on stuffyouwillhate.com (http://www.stuffyouwillhate.com) (usually referring to "troo pop-punk" bands with "deep and meaningful" lyrics); I think it's pretty fitting here.

I actually like metalcore more than deathcore. Only because metalcore bands are at least capable of writing emotional music. Case in point:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j534B6cR86o

Don't think for a second that I'm a fan of Underoath, but this tune is infinitely better than anything I've ever heard from any deathcore band.

They're not taking a month off, every few decades there's a year that skips a month and next year it's April. It's kind of like a leap year thing to prevent the seasons from shifting.

Wouldn't mind seeing WC headline, couldn't care less about the other bands. Of course, this doesn't hit Montreal, and I'm not willing to travel far to see this.

And on a side note, these deathcore arguments are really gay and need to stop. Deathcore fans: A LOT OF PEOPLE HERE DON'T LIKE DEATHCORE! ACCEPT IT, AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO DEFEND IT.

And for anyone who bitches, I'm indifferent to deathcore. I don't care what the haters or the lovers have to say.
