Reading all these guest appearances and random lil reunions makes me think how epic and un real it would be if there was a tweet that popped up with something along the lines of "MAX, IGOR, KISSER AND Paolo jr UP IN THE BUILDING FOLKS" and did some "covers" with metallica. Keep in mind that Stockholm is 9 hours ahead of California. It's very possible he could be a guest.

Yes it is, but you're gaining time flying that direction. When I flew from Norway to California (with a connecting flight in Paris) I left at 6am and got to LAX at 2pm, if I remember correctly.

But Motorhead is playing a show in Stockholm today. So even if they left when their show was over (11pm?), they would arrive in San Fran after the Metallica show is already over.

We will find out after the shows over that Lemmy got there after the crowd left and Metallica, Lemmy, and the rest of the guests jammed and played extra songs for a few hours.

I'm not surprised about The Four Horsemen, but no Ride the Lightning sucks balls. That is the absolute best James/Dave collaboration, and honestly contains some of Dave's best riffs ever. Oh well, I haven't been to any of the shows yet, and I definitely won't be at the last one!

I'm not surprised about The Four Horsemen, but no Ride the Lightning sucks balls. That is the absolute best James/Dave collaboration, and honestly contains some of Dave's best riffs ever. Oh well, I haven't been to any of the shows yet, and I definitely won't be at the last one!

Yeah, Ride the Lightning needs to be played. I'm not sure why they wouldn't do it with this opportunity.
