I've listened to 23 albums worth mentioning this year. I'm gonna list those here. The list is the most diverse list in the history of music listening, because I am more open minded than all of you and therefore a better person all around. I'll probably get lazy pretty early into the list, so lower your expectations.

I couldn't lower my expectations if I tried. ;)

Anal Cunt - Fuckin' A
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_CNREPdvq7Cc/TRHOnMeVc4I/AAAAAAAAErE/kxYd5dobKGc/s1600/Anal+Cunt+-+Fuckin%2527+A.jpg

Kicking off the list is a drastic change in style for Anal Cunt - cock rock. While the idea may seem borderline retarded, it is executed well and does a good job of being a parody of the 80s while still delivering some quality tunes. Even if you think their noisegrind material is the devil's music, I suggest you give Fuckin' A a listen. It's a shame that this wasn't their last album and they released that boring and uninspired piece of shit Wearing Out Our Welcome.

22. Slash Dementia - Race Against The Machine
http://f0.bcbits.com/z/32/43/3243705464-1.jpg

From the mystical land of Finland comes the grindcore act Slash Dementia. This album is 18 tracks of catchy grindcore laced with buzzsaw guitar tone goodness. Fans of Rotten Sound and Nasum will not be disappointed.

Sounds exactly like Nasum but like you said they have that Sunlight guitar tone as well. Good find man :fist:

21. Star Fucking Hipsters - From The Dumpster To The Grave
http://www.soundstagedirect.com/media/star_fucking_hipsters_from_the_dumpster_to_the_gra ve.jpg

SFH once again deliver quality punk rock with their newest album. Fans of SFH and Stza's other projects should have a basic idea of what to expect, just catchy punk with hints of ska. This is Nico(female vocals)'s last album with them. Good shit.

Yeah dude, I first found out about them when I saw on youtube that they used the Behringer ripoff of the Boss HM-2 that all of those bands used (as well as the Boss), and they said the Behringer was pretty much indistinguishable from the original. So I bought one off ebay for 18 bucks!

Oh yeah? Damn, that's sick. How much do the originals usually cost?

This is definitely in my top 10 for the year, if not the top 5. I think Stza can't write a shitty album. I think this album tops Never Rest in Peace. From the Dumpster to the Grave is such an awesome track. I also love the one where Stza raps.

A lot of people were saying this album was disappointing, it was pretty much exactly what I expected. I like it.

19. Demonical - Death Infernal
http://www.angrymetalguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Demonical-Death-Infernal.jpg

If you like Swedish Death, you will love this album. Plenty of lyrics about the devil being a pretty cool guy, and that's nice.

18. Abnormity - Irreversible Disintegration
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-aanaBCxoPc0/TedvfKvMx3I/AAAAAAAAAB8/Ty5mx0mUhq8/s320/Cover.jpg

Heavy as fuck slam/brutal death whatever, now with a drum machine! My only gripe is that the vocals could be better, if they had someone like Matti Way this would probably be the best shit ever.

Ineresting. I'll have to check this out.

EDIT: Checked out a few songs. Not bad. I sorta like the slamming brutal death shit that is gaining in popularity.

17. Phobia/Abaddon Incarnate

Bryan Fajardo and Dorian Rainwater of Noisear join Phobia for their absolute best material to date. Every project these dudes touch is gold, and the Phobia material on this split is no different. The Abaddon tracks are alright, but nowhere near as awesome as what Phobia has to offer

This band is fucking awesome. No bass player, just as god intended. Excellent, excellent grindcore.

You've caught my interest

Not that I have anything against bass players, but when they're intentionally not there it usually works out surprisingly well.

I love Gridlink, but their new album wasn't nearly as good as Amber Gray. Now that was a grindcore masterpiece

I prefer Orphan because it shows them with a style more of their own rather than trying to sound like DxAx

Eh, fair enough, I just realllly hated the way they started each song.

And I dunno who DxAx is?
