It's just a sample! But I like it. Real Heavy Metal!

Kinda switched off Primal Fear in the last couple of years. And when the tracklist for a new album includes a song called 'Metal Nation', that pretty much explains why.

I understand. The track should have been called Heavy Metal nation, since there is no genre of music called metal. Only Heavy Metal! I can forgive this forum for that transgression.

Maybe it's a song about robots. Ever consider that? ;)

That would be cool.

What's wrong with robots?

Nothing. Songs about robots on the other hand always seem to the musical equivalent of derivitive b-movie sci-fi.

The last two Primal Fear albums have been pretty disappointing and/or inconsistent for me, but I still believe they could make another great album. There's 3 very good songwriters in one band now and one of the best guitar pairings I've ever seen anywhere. The only thing that bothers me is the song titles, and the fact that Ralf's voice seems increasingly pitch-correct/autotuned all the time.
