Promoter I'm friends with just said on Facebook: "who would like to see Turisas, Alestorm, Ex Deo and Arkona?"

Can't post proof cuz I'm on my phone, but its there.

They have listed on The Agency Group's listing for Turisas that they're on Paganfest 2012. So that part's true.

Turisas and Alestorm are both fun live but not a fan of each. I was hoping Equilibrium (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yom8nNqmxvQ) could finally tour the US and this would be the perfect opportunity for them.

Giggity!

I've been waiting for Paganfest USA to come back but that line-up is so meh. Turisas were already on the first one and Alestorm tours all the time. Arkona is cool I guess but they're already touring with Korpiklaani in a few months. Ex Deo just isn't that great. The only reason they'd be on the tour is because the singer is the promoter of the tour.

I want to see newer bands and bands that haven't toured over here yet. That's what was so cool about Paganfest 1.

This. I've been waiting for them to come to the US for awhile now.. I thought they would've landed on Paganfest or another folk metal tour by now.

It's too bad they can't combine the best of both tours for the North American Tour:

Primordial
Alestorm
Eluvietie
Korpiklaani
Solstafir
Equilibrium

Damn is that really the running order?? Alestorm playing over Arkona? Alestorm has been on numerous tours and never really seem to blow anyone away where as Arkona is direct support right now on the Korpiklaani tour and at the NYC show I thought they were MUCH better than Korp, deserving of a higher billing on the Paganfest for sure.

Maybe it's kinda like a Ghoul - Creepsylvania thing.

Only Rome actually exists, and probably doesn't want to be associated with a middle-of-the-road melodic death metal side project band. ;)

For The St. Paul Show:

Station 4 & SwordLord Productions are VERY excited to announce Turisas will be headlining PAGANFEST 3! (Full bill announced 12/18)
Station 4 date will be Friday, April 6th! On sale now! (Station 4 & Discland will have tickets soon)

Either they are waiting to announce the rest of the lineup, or one or more of the bands can't make it and they are replacing them.

Hm, not a fan of Ex Deo or Alestorm. Haven't heard of the the two on the bottom how are they? I'll probably end up going cause I know this really cute chick who's into this stuff and I haven't seen her in quite a while a while.
