Out of which you'll probably only see one date, whereas I'll most likely see them at Graspop this year, and in Moscow if they decided to come around again. Plus a possible third if one of their American legs of the tour happen to take place during a summer. :ass:

Excited, but Wrath was slightly disappointing. it wasn't god awful like Here Waits Thy Doom but most of the songs just seemed like filler songs left-out of other CDs. Also, I expect The Faceless's CD to be better.

This, exactly. Wrath had its moments, but a lot of it was filler. I won't lose faith, though. 14 song this time; there has to be some good ones!

FUCK YES. I am stoked about this record. Also I have some exciting news about this tour. I am pretty sure they are playing tiny clubs. My friend was at the Orpheum Theater buying tickets to the Mastodon show in Boston in a few weeks (that's where the House Of Blues sells their tickets, but that's beside the point). He told me he saw a flyer while he was there, that was advertising Lamb Of God was headlining a show at the Paradise in Boston in January (The Paradise holds about 750 people). If that's true, I will shit my pants.

Dude they're practically the same thing, just arranged differently.

Besides, you're making it sound like they haven't used that logo in forever, like Metallica going back to the classic logo on Death Magnetic for the first time in 4 albums.

Only positive thing I can really say about Lamb of God from my experiences is that their live shows are absolutely crazy. I've said it before, but a Lamb of God show today is like a Slayer show in the early '90s.

They did an offdate from Mayhem last year at a club that holds 1200 people max. It was filled and people were going absolutely ballistic the entire time. Also didn't help the fact that Hatebreed and 3 Inches of Blood opened. ;)

Gramercy - 600 - Irving - 1,000(both of those in NYC, popular venues for metal bands) The Chance(upstate new york) - 700? couldn't find a good answer via Google. Lamb and 3 Inches would be awesome.

TO recap my views on the last 4 pages:

1.) Not much of an LOG fan, I haven't been impressed since As The Palaces Burn.
2.) Pantera >>> LOG
3.) Floods is Pantera's Best song
4.) The new LOG clip is better then their last two albums.

Lamb of God was one of those gateway bands for me. I will probably listen to this out of curiosity and for some nostalgia, but I don't expect it to impress me the way it might have 5 years ago.

You people are insane. Pantera has SO MANY nasty songs. I feel like people on this website have an anti-Pantera bias for some reason.

As for the clip, it isn't enough to know a damn thing. I can't believe how many people are bashing Sacrament and Wrath though. The band has in no way compromised; the music got more complex since Ashes of the Wake, Randy's vocal skills are much better. I swear, if you don't have two note repetitive riffs no one likes it. A three year old could play stuff like that.

All I have to say is that just because Pantera was once hugely popular, and their guitarist and primary songwriter was murdered onstage, doesn't mean that they ever made any real significant contribution to metal. They were essentially forerunners in the whole "mainstream nu-metal radio bullshit" scene when they broke up.

Phil Anselmo has actually done more for metal as a whole than Dimebag ever did on his own :eyes: Whether you like Phil or hate him, it's sad but fucking true.

I would agree with that last statement. He is definitely the best all-around musician of the group. But the band definitely made some killer music. I don't see how Far Beyond Driven and Trendkill are not more popular.

Also, Phil and Dimebag shared most songwriting almost equally.
