Had a great time at my first foreign concert the other night. It was essentially the same show I saw back in August in West Virginia but this time I was much, much closer so that was awesome. I was on the rail just off from center and was extremely close to Alice when he would walk out on the ego ramps. Being that close I noticed a few little things, such as the Alice clone masks during Clones (We're All), that I missed back in August. I also got to see the snake up close... I hate snakes.:eyes: It was also cool to see Alice bring out the German flag for Elected. Orianthe was cool, I honestly don't even remember what the dude she replaced looked like back in August.

The crowd was much more into the show than they were in the States and the place seemed to be about sold out so that was nice. I caught an Alice Cooper 100 dollar bill during Billion Dollar Babies. I would've liked to see some more stuff from Welcome 2 My Nightmare because I think it's a good album but I love all the songs that he's doing so I can't complain too much. I'm really glad he's doing two songs from Brutal Planet, my favorite Alice Cooper album.

Merch was pretty much the same as in the US, I passed on the shirt because I already got one in August and it was the same design just with the Australian / European / American second leg dates on it.

Setlist:
Vincent Price intro

1. The Black Widow
2. Brutal Planet
3. I'm Eighteen
4. Under My Wheels
5. Billion Dollar Babies
6. No More Mr. Nice Guy
7. Hey Stoopid
8. Is It My Body (with snake)
9. Halo of Flies (with instrumental jam)
10. I'll Bite Your Face Off
11. Muscle of Love
13. Only Women Bleed
14. Cold Ethyl
15. Feed My Frankenstein (with giant Frankenstein)
16. Clones (We're All)
17. Poison
18. Wicked Young Man
19. Killer / I Love The Dead (Alice dies)
20. School's Out (with Another Brick In The Wall snippet)
---
21. Elected

Some of the better pictures I got from the show:

Welcome to three months ago.

But FUCK yes I'm glad he kept that setlist. Would have liked I Am Made of You and When Hell Comes Home, but never mind. Can't wait for Saturday :D

As I've said before, the majority of American concert audiences today suck.

I'd tidy those photos up a bit, personally ;)

Smaller is always better. Observe:

I really wish he'd add more songs from Welcome 2 My Nightmare. I figured Caffeine would become a staple, and I Am Made of You is one of his best ballads, in my opinion. Come on, Coop!

That does look better, Ravenheart. Cool, I didn't know that. I just have a point and shoot that I just got this past August so I don't really know how all this stuff works.

I made some adjustments to the shot too, to make the colours better etc.

Happy to do the others if you like. Although there's no saving the one with the snake ;)

She hasn't been with him that long since I saw him at the end of august and she wasn't playing yet.

It makes sense that he's keeping the same set because this is the European leg of the No More Mr. Nice Guy tour and nobody over there has seen him play this show yet. Also, this set rules and most of his new album blows so he can keep this one as long as he wants. He'll probably add in some songs from the new album next year when he has a tour with a new theme.

The new album is leaps and bounds better than Along Came a Spider....but you're right, it IS a great set.

That's not saying much though. Alice didn't have to try too hard to make something better than that.

Very true. I dunno, I really enjoyed it, but I can see why it wasn't most people's cup of tea. I'm just excited to see him live for the first time in December.

Actually, we've already had a European leg of that tour, and the setlist was completely different.

Absolutely not. The new album has two good songs. Along Came A Spider had three or four. And is at least coherent as an album. The new one is a mess.

I don't have a lot of Alice's stuff but I thought Along Came A Spider was awful whereas the new one is a a very solid album with a handful of shit tracks (What Baby Wants, When Hell Comes Home, Runaway Train) and a bunch of really cool stuff.
