I'm tired and in pain, so I'm gonna keep this brief.

I have no idea what Katatonia's set was, but I do have Opeth's. Both bands were great that night.

They may have played a couple of extra songs or edited things around a bit, I'm not sure. If anyone was there, please help me out.

I also remember that Mikael revealed the name of the new guy on the keyboards. Anyone remember that?

The Devil's Orchard
I Feel The Dark
Face of Melinda
Porcelain Heart
Pyre
Harvest
The Throat of Winter
Patterns in the Ivy Part II
Closure
Slither
Fair Judgement
Hex Omega

Encore:

Folklore

Don't get your panties into a twist, they only played the chorus.

Yeah, don't get too excited. They played the music to the chorus and let the crowd sing it.

Your setlist is correct though. Great show. It was kind of amusing to see some people getting angry about the lack of death-growl songs. There was a guy in front of me who would yell 'Bloodbath!!!!!' between every song.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it in previous reviews, but I just remembered that Porcelain Heart had a drum solo in the middle last night.

Yes, there was one at the Columbus show. It really caught me off guard and I wasn't sure it would work. But the way that Axe brings it back into the song is amazing!

I remember that guy. I also had a good laugh at the guy that screamed "FUCKIN' KATATONIA!" during a pause in one of their songs.

Honestly, I was kind of surprised that there was a pit during The Devil's Orchard. I did, however, jump into the later ones, and I wound up busting my nose and bruising my collarbone during the Dio thing, but that's to be expected.

Great show indeed.

What, they pitted during Hex Omega or something?

I don't understand why they tease songs that they should just friggin' play. These sets are okaYYYY. I'd definitely like to see all of Harvest in there as well as Benighted, Isolation Years, Burden, To Bid You Farewell, and something off Damnation besides Closure. Same set every night? Come on boys :tp:

During Slither. Mikeal mentioned that the song is a tribute to Dio and the crowd went a little crazy during the opening riff.

If they all came out and played "Eaten" as the encore that would make up for everything.

SUCK MY GUTS AND LICK MY HEART
CHOOOOOP ME UP, I LIKE TO BE HURT
DRINK MY MARROW AND BLOOD FOR DESSERT

I'm under the impression that they're saving a surprise Bloodbath song or even a set for one date on the tour.

I'm glad I'm not alone on this one. Bloodbath is my favorite death metal band, and I don't see why everyone goes nuts over that one song. To me it really doesn't stand out in their catalog, other than it's one of their slowest songs.

Exactly. Like, it's fun to sing along to, but the riffs on that song have NOTHING on some of their other riffs. Totally unfuckwithable.
