On their facebook, Born of Osiris stated:

"We are headlining the US this Nov/Dec! Going to hit some cities we haven't played yet all year!! There's another Sumerian band from Chicago on the Tour :) Also a California band, a Canadian band and some dudes from France!! Get ready"

If I am correct, the other bands they mention are Veil of Maya, The Faceless, Structures, and Betraying the Martyrs.

I'd be there in a second, that'd kill. But I feel like VoM or The Faceless would headline that.

Meh, The Faceless is really the only Sumerian band I care for. I might not go to this since I already saw The Faceless in LA and I dont care for the other bands on this bill.

hopefully it's not The Faceless, cause I would like to see them headline their own shit

It is, Born Of Osiris confirmed they are touring with The Faceless in an interview last month. I am assuming The Facless/Cynic is tour is going to happen and it will be around Feburary/March of next year.

Goddammit, this tour has been known to be happening for over a month now. If there's no dates, WHY GET MY HOPE UP?!

And yes, the Faceless are confirmed, as well as "1 more Sumerian band". Would be fine with either:

-After the Burial or Veil of Maya (probably not, since they're doing Crush 'Em All in a few days. But they would be my top choices!)
-Circle of Contempt
-Dead Letter Circus? :snivel:
-Stray From the Path
-Periphery

Probably gonna be some generic stuff like Structures or I, The Breather though. Eh.

There's another Sumerian band from Chicago on the Tour :)

Oh shit. I'd bet money that's Veil! :agree:

1.) Dead Letter Circus is from Australia, so no.
2.) Periphery opening for Born Of Osiris? How high do you get in College boy?

Born of Osiris is so much more popular than Periphery it's not even funny

Yeah, they be WAY more popular. I've seen both live, and there were like, twice as many people for Born of Osiris.

And I didn't see the "from Chicago" thing 'till after I posted that. I would love it to be Dead Letter, though!

The sad thing is, I bet with all those bands, BOO is only gonna get 45 minutes at the most. I'd love to see some 3 band Liberia from Sumerian sometime. :hmm:

Going from The Faceless to Carnifex is a monumental stepdown. This probably isn't coming to my area anyways, but I am much more likely to skip this now (even though Born Of Osiris is awesome and puts on a great show.)

Well, since this is minimally related, The Faceless had the fucking honor of opening up for Carnifex in January '10 here. Normally I'm all for getting your money's worth, but uh, I'd leave after The Faceless.

Like always I have to come to in and defend Carnifex. Saw them in April with Oceano!!! (YAY VIOLENCE!) and they were actually extremely good live. Everyone but the lead singer stuck away and talking to anyone that wanted to meet them. Super nice guys and really great live. Great energy.

Wait, so Veil of Maya is more popular than The Faceless? if The Faceless were on this, they'd be third from the top?

No, The Faceless is for sure more popular than Veil Of Maya. I would actually say The Faceless is more popular than Born Of Osiris (or at the least as popular). Carnifex just happened to be the band that replaced The Faceless, I think Veil Of Maya was third from the top originally.

IMO, Carnifex are still nowhere near as bad as Oceano, Emmure or Iwrestledabearonce.

When I saw them on Summer Slaughter, they were surprisingly not bad. A lot better than The Faceless and All Shall Perish.

They are not definitely not as bad as Emmure(let's be honest not many bands are), but they are worse than Oceano and Iwrestledabearonce.

When I saw Emmure this summer they were pretty good live and I was dead center front row but after awhile I got bored and tired and went back and watched the end of their set from a chair.

And why must I admit that not only am I a huge Iwresltedabearonce fan (like HUGE!) but I also really enjoyed Oceano both times I saw them and when I met them. Also met IWABO too!

That's the thing there was none. Some small pushing up front and me getting repeatedly punched in the back of the head by guys so finally I said screw it and went and watched. The crowd was pretty dead after the 10 or so hours inside Congress Theater.

And my rep here is fine. I'm just prone to loving bands that you all hate.

I could see Betraying the Martyrs getting big after this tour. They're probably one of the most original sounding deathcore bands out there. It sounds like a mix of Whitechapel, Born of Osiris sometimes, good use of keyboards instead of the usual bands "herp derp heres some keyboards, and the occasional clean vocals in the choruses. If you're up for giving deathcore bands a chance I'd recommend checking them out. However their first EP/album blows and I wouldn't recommend that.

These are the standout tracks from them in my opinion

Yea I'm not going to give anyone shit about what bands they like because I don't want to be attacked for who I like.

Although JD I would like to see Emmure again but in a small venue.
