Atleast for my date tix aren't as bad as I thought. Plus it will be nice to see a headliner play something longer than a 70-80 minute headline set. They've been doing almost 30 songs a night. Granted there is a few solos but still a good headline set.

The three headlining sets I saw last year varied between 2 hours 15 minutes and 2 hours 40 minutes.

Probably Seb Bach again.

I was supposed to see them in Milwaukee back in 2006 but, not surprisingly, they canceled.

Probably Seb Bach again.

That would be my guess. Perhaps Duff McKagan's Loaded?

I'd consider this if it was coming near me and ticket prices were decent. If they are still playing a ton of shit from Chinese Democracy that's a deal breaker.

People crying about shows years ago getting cancelled are dumb. People crying about seven or so CD songs in a 30-song set are dumb.

It's sad that no one is capable of objectively viewing GN'R anymore. Well, sad for the people who go to the shows and refuse to allow themselves to enjoy it because of some petty hang-up they probably read on the internet, or who don't go to the shows in the first place for the same reason. The rest of us get to have an amazing time :D

Personally, Guns N Roses nowadays ain't bad, but they are a bastardised band from the original Guns N Roses. They aren't the same band, don't write too similar music and don't have the same mission statement. I ain't gonna hate on them for those reasons, but I can see why people would, and I'm not going to judge them on that basis.

Might go to this if tickets aren't that expensive, but only if it's close. Definitely wouldn't travel for it

they were scheduled to go onstage at 9pm, and at 11:30pm they started taking equipment down without any explanation

that's why people were pissed, sat through openers and waited almost 3 hours to have them leave without any word(after paying out the ass for parking, concessions, AND many bought tickets to a last minute 2nd show they were offering at the arena across the street)

we got refunded for the flat ticket price, not the disgusting surcharges or any of that other shit

The CT show is the day after Judas Priest, which happens to be the day before my girlfriend's birthday... ugh

So it's not the day OF the Judas Priest show... and it's not the day OF your girlfriend's birthday... I fail to see the problem.
