from The Oceans facebook:
"mid-October until end of November, we will be returning to the US for the 2nd time this year. We will be direct support this time, playing a 40 minutes set, for a band that we can't name just yet. We know how much you like speculating about these kinda things, so bring on those rumors..."

should be awesome, can't wait to see the full lineup.

thats what I was thinking.

The best excuse I have for this...

Who else major is touring in October/November that hasn't announced their support acts yet?

Since I missed the Ocean on their BTBAM tour, since it didn't come anywhere near me. I will be ecstatic if this happens.

First of all U MAD!.....for not liking Hevy Devy. Yes I know we've had this conversation already.

2.) The ocean already said this is a 40 minute support set. So they aren't headlining. And toruing with Dev would make total sense in my eyes.

3.) You fucked with everyone here saying Cryptopsy's The Unspoken King is the greatest Deathcore album ever made...and just for making the thread in general your opinion is not valid for at least another 3 weeks.

Nah just kidding we all still love you....maybe.

If this is a tour with DT I will be very disappointed. The Ocean really surprised me opening for BTBAM and I would love to see them again, but I really have no interest at all in DT.

it won't be with DTP. Devin starts a tour in the UK in early November.

And the Ocean is touring China in September and Early October. So that means nothing really.

Anathema's opening for Devin as direct support, so you can rule out The Ocean unless something's changed. Dillinger could be a very realistic option if that new tour they spoke of is a headlining run.

Meh. Would rather see the Ocean headline.I actually agree with this, but since I traveled all the way to fucking (un)holy Toledo earlier this year and just missed their set (this was while they were on tour with BTBAM), I'd feel blessed to get a second chance to see them this year, considering they are from fucking Europe, after all.

well bad news from the ocean today:

"Today is a shit day. Our upcoming US tour just fell apart. We had been confirmed for quite a while for a direct support slot on a good 6-weeks US tour in October and November, and yesterday it was decided that this tour is now being postponed to late November into December. We are not available at that time. Our flights to the US have already been booked for weeks, and we've been left high and dry again... somehow we're just not lucky over there it seems!"

I've been to a ton of them there. I have absolutely no clue why they are 16+. It should be all ages, 18+ or 21+

The sad part is I know there won't be a lot of people at this show. Sans Devin Townsend, Every show I've been to since July has been less then 50 people. Works for me since I get the rail every time, but still.

The Ocean have been posting on fb that there has been a pour turnout for their shows. I'm really bummed I missed their show last week. I thought it already happened, so I didn't think anything about it until they posted they just played LA. I hate driving out to LA anyways. Have fun and post a review!

I think it has to do with the fact that none of the shows were planned in advance. Hell the St. Paul show is next Friday, and I've only known for 3 days.

Regardless, it will be an amazing show. I'll do my best to grab a setlist and hang out with the guys after, and of course post a great review. :rocker:

Victims of Contagion are pretty awesome! One of the best local bands I've ever seen.
