This is only the 3rd edition. And that lineup is even worse than last year's.

It is so wrong to call a tour with these bands on it by this title.

When it's this bad, it doesn't matter what you call it.

This is only the 3rd edition. And that lineup is even worse than last year's.

This is the fourth edition. It started in 2008, which was headlined by Darkest Hour. 2009 was headlined by Devildriver, and 2010 was headlined by Asking Alexandria.

And on a side note, it may not be the best tour in the world, and it totally misjudges the "Thrash" name, I'll take whatever tour I can get for the sake of going nuts.

When it's this bad, it doesn't matter what you call it.But it's so bad, it sullies the name of the genre that is named in its title, and every band that has been a part of said genre!!!

(I'm just kidding. I couldn't give a fuck less.)

I'd rather get a blowjob from a piranha than go to this shitheel of a tour.

The only chance I've ever had to see Arsis was on this shitty tour a few years ago. I wish I could've paid like 1/6th of the ticket price, see them, then get the fuck out.

Ah my bad. I thought 2009 was the first year.

Okay, if this come near me I might go. I love FTFD and ABRB, UABB is pretty good. Also, if Volumes opens then I'm definitely going.

Might go. Depends. ;)

If Dr. Acula opens, I'm DEFINITELY going. Need to see those sick keyboard flips!

I'll fly to wherever you are go with you. We can be hxcmoshbros

But honestly I might go for Winds of Plague and As Blood Runs Black, but it depends on their setlists. Both have played the same set both times I've seen them...

I'll probably go. I like ABRB and WOP a lot. FTFD and UABB are alright too. Chelsea Grin blows though.

Oh, I forgot about UABB. They have exactly 1 good breakdown I would mosh to:

WoP and ABRB are the only ones I like..not worth it.

But I might end up going if it comes here...my girl friend likes Dr. Acula:barf:

You know your tour is bad when Upon A Burning Body is the 2nd best band on the bill. This is the definition of an AIDS tour.

I'll go to this to see WOP. ABRB and Chelsea Grin are both watchable live. Chelsea Grin was better live at The All Stars Tour than they were on The Welcome To Hell Tour with Whitechapel. Their new cd even sounds like Whitechapel.

Of course not! This tour has never been a thrash tour. Just the hottest new metal at the time.

Didn't see this 'till today! Pretty cool; my one friend and I will definitely go to see Winds of Plague. I don't care if I get shit from you all, WoP at Peabody's is gonna be great! :ass:

They are playing in Portland, ME?? Fuck me running...Why can't we get fucking good tours in this god damn state? I don't want this shit here....I sat through it one year just to see Motorhead. Every ninja in the southern part of the state is gonna be out that night and not even because they like the bands. :bouville:

Honestly though I'm shocked that its at Mojoes. That place only holds MAYBE 500. I was expected House Of Blues.

Wolves in the Throne Room just played in Portland!

Yes they did. The place they were supposed to play go shut down by neighbors so apparently they did the show in some abandoned lot behind a studio or something. I didn't go cause I had tickets to Arch Enemy but they were on my mind if I somehow couldn't have gone.

Yeah because those 2 would fit in and sound similar to the rest of the lineup.

I've seen Chelsea Grin twice and they've been awsome both times, saw As Blood Runs Black on Summer Slaughter and they put on a good show, and WOP were one of the main reasons I went to Warped and they put on a amazing show.

09-21-2011, 08:43 PM
Always down to see WOP, but the rest of this lineup sucks. Eh, ABRB is tolerable, but that's it for me. If i can get the night off from work I will probably go to the Montreal date.

jd091
09-21-2011, 08:56 PM
Yeah... I'm definitely showing up late. Too many bands I don't care about to sit through. I'm picturing it in my head, right now.

Decimate the Weak is blaring, then right before that breakdown ("I AM SENT FROM HEEEEELL"), I do a running stagedive on the heads of all the kiddies up front, a la Greg Puciato! Or I might try a huge frontflip. Got a while to decide...
