WOW! For a short set it was extremely amazing! The band was on fire! Sadly... and I hate to sound like a dick, but this bothered me... David, Dave, and Shawn threw things to me (I know this because they pointed me out all show and I was honestly the only one near me who looked to give a shit) and each time I went to grab the pick or stick it would bounce off me and onto the floor in front of the rail (I'm on rail). Now this wasn't a case of butterfingers, it was a case of EVERYONE wants free shit from a band they KNOW people like. So I would get pushed around and what not, not a big deal, but when I would motion to the security guard to hand it to me, he would begin to give it but then hand it to the girl behind me claiming, "Dude, she has a kid, let him have it." Everyone around me would argue with him saying "Come on, the guy got it 1st, he is going crazy for this band," but no. Ladies and children 1st, and 2nd... 3rd...

Now I can understand doing this once, MAYBE twice... But every time? Come on... Kid or no kid, that's fucked up.

I heard Alex Webster was at this show hanging out by the metal blade tent. Did you get to see him?

Yeah but just Chris and Shawn due to Dave having a shoulder injury. He is in visible pain which is kinda messed up... But he says "My shoulder is my broken, my hear isn't, I do this for you." I assume David was with Dave just being the best friend he always was.

And I know Machine Head did Halo, since I heard it from Mainstage. I just made sure I was rail for Megadeth so I had to leave early from second stage.

Machine Head did a signing at 2:30, and sadly I didn't make it to the line, but was able to catch Phil before he jumped in the golf cart.

Ah well I'll be there all day. Kinda disappoint in the shortened megadeth set, but better than them dropping off! I don't think I'll do the megadeth signing without Dave though.

I know I'm not the only one who thinks this but I fucking hate kids at shows sometimes b/c you know it's a guarantee that they will get all the shit given to them. I have a kid, I understand it but everytime it seems like they literally get everything given to them. I will know step off of my soapbox. Those are some very sweet pictures btw.

My apologies for being out of the loop, what happened to Dave's shoulder? Is it something reoccuring from his serious nerve damage from 2002?

It's good to know that Vic Rattlehead is still coming out. I thought he was only for the Jagermeister music tour.

Unknown, I doubt it's very serious if he is able to still play and what not. He was in pain taking guitars off though. I'm not a doctor!

I don't think anything was even mentioned about Mustaine having shoulder surgery. This news kinda came out of nowhere. I'm not surprised at this considering they've been on the road non stop for two years now. Maybe it would be smart if they take a break from touring until the new year so Dave can rest up.
