I've probably been to about 150 shows over the better part of the past decade, and so far I've managed to bring home one drumstick from the drummer of Eluveitie.

I'm usually too drunk to notice shit flying at me from the stage. :realchug:

I have a bunch of random setlists that are highly unnecessary. Lack of Interest, Fetus Eaters, Wormrot, Primate, Destroyed in Seconds. Basically if a band plays the Blvd, I can grab its setlist pretty easy.

I have a guitar pick from Jeff Walker, Erik Danielsson, Unknown Hinson and a few others that I can't think of. I scored a drum stick from Adrian from Brujeria.

I've been to well over 200 shows at this point. And usually am in the pit or on the barrier by the end of the show. Over time i have somewhat learned tendencies and what to watch for. Usually if you make eye contact with a guitarist at the end of a song you can get them to throw a pick to you. That's what I did when I caught twiggy's pick. He made a perfect throw from about 15 feet away too. And I've turned catching picks out of the air into an artform. Some have been lucky like the slipknot one. Bounced off a couple people and landed at my feet. Some have been how the fuck did that happen. Such as the underoath drumstick. I was talking to the person next to me and motioned with my hands something to the person hands out palms towards the sky and the stick landed perfectly in my hand.

Signed Things:
Mastodon (poster)
The Black Dahlia Murder, Byron Davis From God Forbid (Mayhem Fest 09 ticket)
All Of Scale The Summit except for the drummer (Between The Buried and Me ticket)
3 Inches Of Blood, Winds Of Plague (Mayhem Fest 2010 program)
Devin Townsend (Children Of Bodom ticket)
Red Fang (Mayhem Fest 2011 program)

I have never got a pick, drumstick, or setlist. I have come so fucking close so many times to catching picks or drumsticks it just hasn't worked out ( During Unearth's set at Mayhem I thought I was going to catch Ken Susi's pick then this kid came out of nowhere and got it. When I saw In Flames headline two years ago a pick was coming at me, I lost it in the lights, then it landed it behinded and some chick grabbed it right when I found it.)

Honestly, towards the end of shows/sets, I ALWAYS forget about setlists. Picks and other stuff I just haven't been as lucky. I almost got a setlist from the Amon Amarth show (a friend of mine got two of them) but I left the venue before he could get to me.

GarageMetal468
08-13-2011, 12:24 PM
Not a lot especially for the amount of shows that I go to, but I got picks from Belphegor, Hate and Devin Townsend. I got the Belphegor and Hate picks in the same show (Sepultura headlining).

I also caught Unearth's set list from their 2009 tour with Cannibal Corpse and Hatebreed.

I've taken down some posters from Reggie's since they have a LOT of them to spare. I've got Augury, Deicide (tour), Rotting Christ (tour), Fatality (band gave me this one), Jungle Rot, and Vader (but it ripped a lot).

Also got a blow up sword (which I lost at MDF) and a foam sword from Powerglove both times I saw them.

Might be missing more

I do have 1 random thing that might be unique. Obviously not many would care about Primer 55 but I saw them about 4 years ago and in between songs Bobby had a pack of gum out and asked anybody if they wanted a piece (should show you the small size of the crowd) and I said I did so I got half a pack of gum from Bobby Burns. Not much but kind of funny. I challenge somebody to have something as odd and random as half a pack of gum.

So you're saying you have a 4 year old pack of gum you got at a concert? I've got to say, that's by far one the weirdest things ever.

LOL shit I didn't clarify, I chewed the rest of the gum but kept the pack for the hell of it. Yea that sounds way more weird than how I had it in my mind. No the gum was chewed. Now I had I kept the already chewed gum then yea I think I would need to seek some sort of electro shock therapy perhaps.
