I missed Revocation with Forbidden.

Hopefully I can see this. Chimaira is a great live band as well.

Revocation are fucking awesome. I'm not nearly as into Chimaira now as I used to be, but they're still cool, plus I heard they were good live.

Chimaira is amazing live; I can attest to that. This tour is gonna be amazing, especially if Revo is direct support.

Chimaira is very good live and Revocation is an awesome opener. I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of the tours that rolled through during Rock and Shock this year.

Chimaira just announced that the lineup will be:

CHIMAIRA
IMPENDING DOOM
REVOCATION
RISE TO REMAIN

Awwww, I had a sinking feeling Revocation wouldn't be direct support. I don't mind Inpending Doom too much, though, despite me finding them incredibly average. This should still be pretty solid.

If there's a nearby date, i'd go just for Chimaira and Revocation. Never heard of the first band, but Impending Doom is a merch break for me.

mastodon421

Fuck Impending Doom. Sadly, i'm not suprised Revocation isn't direct support, but Chimaria couldn't get anyone better than Impending Doon?

If this comes any where near me I'll go chill with Revocation while Impending Doom is on.

Same. Just really really hope it isn't in October, although it probably will be.

Ehh, Impending Doom. Revocation makes up for it, though. And  @ Rise To Remain. You'd think that the offspring of one of the best metal singers of all time would do better than pursue being in a BFMV wannabe band.

Impending Doom is the least preachiest Christian band I've ever seen.

I'll go to this. Primarily for Revocation. I actually like from what I've heard from Rise to Remain, Chimaira was pretty fun live the few times I saw them, and Impending Doom has gotten better with their last album. Yeah, I'll go if it isnt too close to any other show.

Man, Impending Doom blows. I saw them with Chimaira on their last headlining run.

Good to see that Chimaira are starting the album cycle off with a headlining run as opposed to 2 or 3 support slots before headlining.

They added a date at Mojoes in Joliet on Friday October 14 2011. I'll try to see if I can go that on that date.

Yeah, but Revo's in that stage in their career where they're gonna be touring constantly for the next 2 years for this album. They'll be back before ya know it.

how the hell is the NYC date at BB Kings? They haven't had a metal show in years, only rock bands now. They even booked Destruction earlier this year but it got moved to another venue.

I'll probably hit this up if I can. The one things that concerns me is that on Studio Seven's website Rise to Remain is billed above Revocation...:eyes:

The tour poster has Revocation billed ahead of them. It might be a rotating slot?

Yea I'm starting to notice that as well. Huge Chimaira fan and I really am curious about Revocation since everybody has said a lot of good things about them. And a $14 ticket price isn't bad either

fun fact for anyone who hasn't picked up the new Chimaira yet

it will be free with the issue of Metal Hammer(UK) coming out next week
