Doesn't KC get embarrassed enough on here? I was trying to forget this happened. Cmon where's the setlist for Eminem & for D12? The people demand this!!! LOL. I'm hoping if they do this next year there will be less Hipster. Yet sadly I have a feeling this is a pipe dream.

Yikes $100 does seem like a lot. I guess its worth it if you are into some of the other bands

Hey, there were some good bands! I wish Muse, Primus, Black Keys and Flaming Lips were on the same day. I'd have gone to that.

$100 is not a lot considering most of these bands charge a crazy amount for their own shows.

Yeah, I damn near paid $90 to see APC, Crystal Castles and Muse / RATATAT (plus other possibly good acts, obviously) at Lolla this year, but at the end of the day, I didn't pull the trigger because of schedule clashes, a six-hour drive to Chicago and another one back home, and the concept of trying to care for my kids for two days straight after doing all that and getting virtually no sleep on Friday night.

Had Primus, Black Keys or Flaming Lips been on Friday at Lolla as well, I might have taken the plunge... :eyes:

I just think Kanrocksas was kind of a weird mixing of both Lollapalooza (Eminem, Kid Cudi, Muse, etc.) and Wakarusa (The Flaming Lips, Primus, Black Keys, etc.)

It's like it didn't know if it wanted to be a hippie fest or a mainstream fest.

Out of all those you listed Primus is all I'd really care to see. And I will go on record right now and say that I would have seen Eminem as a headliner before I would see Muse.:finger: Yep I said it!!!

At least the organizers were smart enough to put STS9 from 11:15pm - 1am. At so many big festivals (Lolla, ACL) they get stuck with a daytime slot, which is a bit of a waste for Sound Tribe.

Sounds like it would have been a fun weekend.

I think there would have been enough bands in those 2 days to make a good show but the 2 days of those bands was a bit much but I'm still glad KC is trying to do something big, I'm still hoping it will be big next year w/ better bands... and please god change the name!!!

I just saw the Black Keys back in June at an outdoor venue over looking a lake. It was fucking amazing to say the least!!! Thickfreakness is a HUGE OPENER.
